brazil has been my favourite world cup team since pele. It is okay if brazil do not win this year as long as they make it to the last four.
it was an enjoyable final the last one between italy and france. hope to see more great drama like the one solid header by zindane on materrazzi.
E-war is right. We must take a stand for our principle and not let those goons take us for granted. I did not subscribe and instead, i now have an indoor antenna hook to my tv set. I get very good signals for channels like RCTI, SCTV, TV2. The picture quality from my antenna is about same as if watching on cable.
For those out there still figuring how to get good signal feed. Firstly, start with a good antenna. A good antenna does not mean the most expensive one. The important things is to choose an antenna with rotating disc functions and telescopic Vs. Next, make sure the antenna is powered by an AC source and has an adjustable gain control. Next, the gain control should able to switch to either indoor antenna or external antenna interchangeably. This interchangeability, as i found out, is great because some channels, especially the malaysian ones seem to work better on external while the indonesian ones work better on internal.
Well, the above is about antenna selection. Next come to the best way to hook up the antenna to the tv. After fiddling for awhile, i discover the best way is to make use of your existing external antenna (the one you have on the rooftop from years ago). Connect a tv cable between your old external antenna outlet to your indoor antenna. Then, connect your indoor antenna to your tv set.
Lastly, don't forget to tune your tv set to pre-select the frequencies for the respective channels you want to tune into. Once, you have done all that. You are all set to watch the 2010world cup in South Africa for free. Now that we have the antennas, we probably don't have to subscribe to the goons again to watch more future world cups like in 2014, 2018, Viola!
Make a stand, dun subscribe. Else next year onwards can only get worse.
