Tide is turning, great opportunity to load up. On the up trend.
This stock is already in the hands of the big boys, of course it has to go higher.
Ya... I think it can rise higher too.

There should be very good support at the 1.10 - 1.16 range if it goes down from Friay's closing.
TP = 200MA @ around 1.56-1.58 range.
The risk-reward to long this counter looks pretty good to me.

has to decisively cross 1.25 with high volume and the next resistance is at the 1.3 mark.... has to cross that before an uptrend is resumed.... |

with price level about Sgd. 1.25, the risk is very low, while the reward will be very high!

I don't know what is your entry. But your cut loss should be if it dipped below 1.17. Cut at 1.14

First basic principle of investing share: Buy at lowest possible share prices and Sell  at highest possible share prices.
So when the market goes down I am waiting to catch buying at the lowest price and when the market goes up I am waiting to let my share holding go (sell not buy some more) at the highest possible share prices.

But you did not consider the human element.
When a stock goes down, people tend to buy some more
to fight the market, as they are " mm kam guan"
with the market if it goes down.
But if the market goes up, human nature is
such that he will buy some more to maximise
their profits... Thus in practice, not everything
is as straightforwrd as you think...

False statement, I am afraid!
Think the other way, let some one A and B using the same amount of initial capital of Sgd. 500,000.00   invests the same share at prices Sgd. 5.00 (100,000 shares for A) and  Sgd. 10.00 (50,000 shares for B).
When the share price up from Sgd. 5.00 to Sgd. 10.00  A will gain Sgd. 500,000.00 so 100% from A's initial capital.(Sgd. 1,000,000.00 for A's new capital). While B no gain, no loss, just break even back to B's own initial capital. Also
When the share price down from Sgd. 10.00 to Sgd.5.00 A will loss Sgd. 500,000.00 back to new capital value Sgd. 500,000.00 ( so no gain, no loss for A) but B will loss Sgd. 250,000.00 (50% of B's initial capital) becomes only left Sgd. 250,000.00 for B's new capital value.
The above scenario showon that the ENTERING PRICE LEVEL does count in stock investment performance |
