Just to further update as this piece of new was missing in the thread.

Wilmar Internationals CEO Kuok Khoon Hong and COO Martua Sitorus increased their stakes in the agricultural commodities company recently. On Nov 12 and 14, Kuok purchased 2.63 million shares at $3.14 and $3.17 apiece. Sitorus on the other hand, purchased two million shares at $3.17 cents apiece on Nov 16. The move has boosted Kuoks deemed stake in the firm to 12% and Sitorus stake to 10.2%.

Wilmars latest project is a joint venture with Swiss specialty chemicals firm Clariant. Both parties will set up a global platform for production and sales of amines and selected amines derivatives. The platform will be based in Singapore and is slated to open by the middle of 2013. Amines are chemicals derived from ammonia and are used in the making of drugs, dyes and the treatment of gases.

Wilmar is also embarking on another partnership with agricultural processing firm Archer Daniels Midland Co (ADM), which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Under the partnership, both parties will collaborate on purchasing and distribution in the global fertiliser business, the sale and marketing of vegetable oils and fats in Europe, and managing their oceangoing fleets, with Wilmar contributing two vessels. The two companies have worked together since the mid 1990s. ADM also owns a 16% shareholding in Wilmar.

There are signs that Wilmar International may have finally bottomed. Current price already crossed the  50- day and 100-day moving averages of $3.17 one week ago, a significantly higher measuring objective is being  indicated.A counter to look out for if you have not vested yet.

Likely to fall on Monday together with the rest of the market but will meet resistance at around $3.14 as the Directors' recent buy-in is at $3.14 to $3.18.

Need to see whether Wilmar can stay above $3.20 after breakout.

I think yesterday the public got sucked   in at probably from 3.23 to 3.28 on high volume at about 9.20am   so today the operator used the   fiscal talks stalemate ( dow futures down 200 pts   at one point )   to shakeout the public first before   pushing up   further.

so the trick is to enter just before the breakout like what my students did on wed 19 dec   or enter on retrace ( or shakeout   )   after the breakout like today or maybe monday .

Wilmar may rise to   3.37   react down a bit   then 3.47 then   react down for a while

then proceed to 3.62-67 before we see a strong down   reaction.

for more detail illustration ,pse see   my wilmar chart     TQ.
