There will only be 1 left standing and 1 left lying down on a battlefield. So whatever proofs newbies tried so hard to impress, giving ?facts & figures?, which is an excuse when things goes wrong. All will be in vain if the result is not satisfactory. As a chinese sayings "honest words are hard to swallow". The choice is yours to choose the destiny between victory & failure.
I express my heartfelt gratitude for the overwheming supports from so many newbies. From the bottom of my heart... I thank each and every newbies who suffered big time and looking for salvation.
Truely yours
Robert
There is no need to get angry of posters, just ignore their posts. Enougth said. no need to waste time to argue, i rather just focus on reading useful articles n postings while staying unbias and alert.
We are old enough to ignore those that u dun like. it is the same in forums.
Come to think of it, we should pity poor Robert. This character reminds me of a little child desperately seeking for attention by calling other names and boasting to anyone who care to be a listener how clever he or she is etc....
From the writing content, apart from stepping on peoples toes, poor Robert din really have much to share. This arogant clown is either an attention seeker, got pierce deep, deep by "Uncle Lim" before or a pitiful character made up by a bugger already in this forum using reverse psychology to stir up everyone sentiment. Which ever category Robert is, he has won by stirring up everyone's attention by pissing on majority. Congrats Robert!!!
Dear Robert,
As mentioned by you, no TA and no F.A, did you use chopsticks, seashells or any other divine methods to forsee the trend of this counter? Perhaps i need to return the award to the rightful owner, ya? You keep repeating we newbies need to learn from you. Presumed we juz based on your judgement of the biz and perhaps can you enlighten us where is the lowest price it will dip since you also predicted panic selling? Come on, i am sure you as a self proclaimed "Supreme master" can do more, than using others' contributions as supoort to your claim.
lol. ipunter, as a rationalist myself, there are some things i'd agree with in his posts. but what i do find objectionable is his tone. because it is never about the message alone, but also the delivery of the message.
anyhow, in matters where anger is aroused, there are three things to consider first:
1) Is that person worth my time,
2) Is the situation worth my time,
3) Can I gain anything out of being angry.
If the answer, as in this situation, is clearly no, then, may the elfin lady quotes Macbeth:
"Life, is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
The one and only test of an investor is time: your portfolio proves your worth. Not your words.
Anyhow, this is the last time elf is going to be in this thread. antking, and any other forumers who would like some TA, do feel free to find me on the fellowship thread yea? elf is always willing to help others along. :)
Also, I really like Robert's statement that chart readers (like myself) are turning to charts due to their ignorance of the business aspects of the companies. Though many technicians also study company fundamentals & economics at the same time, this can be rather true with many people, though.
So I mainly agree unreservedly with Robert on this... :)
Hi Robert... :)
Although I myself am a technical (price action) person rather than being business-savvy, I can also agree amiably with your views. This is simply because we need to be unbiased as a whole person.
I strongly believe you are a right-brain dominant person who relies on your gut-feel a lot, and I believe you are right more often than you are wrong. No matter what, I will still admire you... :)
Hi Punter, thanks for your support and admirations.
That's why it's so hard to teach inexperienced newbies nowadays, ppl only want to hear honey coated words which only brings them disaster. This is the reason why I find it so hard to teach students, they only want to read chart, cheong cheong cheong with no brains, no real homework done here. I believe many ppl also admit that they are too lazy to dig the fundamentals of the stock so they turn to charts for short cut which I think is a short cut to financial suicide. They turn to chart also because they don't have the value judgements of the business, they are not well versed in the business world so they rather not crack their empty brains on judging whether the business is worth investing or not. And many hardcore jokers will resort to hearing rumours which to me as a supreme master is totally senseless, because I know they normally play by the rule that something that goes higher should go higher, something goes lower should go lower. Is that funny or wat??!!
I hope that my teachings will benefit newbies who read it. I express my heartfelt appreciation for your support and will continue my effort to educated newbies and enlighten them.
Yours truely
Robert
But the worst thing that can happen to a market newbie/rookie is to be blissful after a lucky spell of big easy profit.
Cos it would be a certainty that that is the end of learning.Blissfulness is reserved for the experienced.
A wise one once said. Ignorance is bliss.
Ray...
Never mind... :)
Let's treat each other as friends even though harsh words have been uttered.
Robert... :)
I admire your utterances, valuable pointers and superb humour in your posts...
Just wondering though...
If the newbies or rookies are so easily taught by wise 'sages' like yourself, wouldn't there be no need for their enlightenment through the process of growth?

Ray's presence certainly helped push SJ's quality up a great notch! :)
Great stuff!
