I cannot agree with you both more, Fairygal and OneSharer. Life in Singapore is so hectic, it's such a paper chase.We do not have a culture of going for holidays regularly, even though it could be so beneficial to us. I always believe that one should take a break now and then, to be able to go the distance fully.As for OneSharer, a teacher's influence should never ever be under-estimated. One little sentence or action from a teacher could result in a lifetime of influence on the young impressionable minds of his/her students. "A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." To all the wonderful teachers out there, you know who you are, kudos.

I think recently there has been another prediction going around, or rather a series of predictions. They are all made by a Brazilian by the name of Mr. Juseleeno who supposedly sees the future in his dreams. However, in spite of all these predictions, life goes on. It is a fact that we all 'born to live, but live to die.' It is up to us to make sense of our time on Earth, no matter how long or short it might be. There is only one thing death cannot take away from us, and that is the relationships we have built and left behind with our loved ones.That is how we live on - in the hearts and memories of our loved ones.

she is the no sixth victim? meant not even one victim reported to police. i read msia sinchew daily everyday, did'nt come across any news on such incidence. really strange, the story is quite doubtful.

I think it is an urban legend lah. I agree with Sporeguy... how come the taxi driver not affected?

frd no illustration on how it works. but apprently, the droplets of the spray nearer to the victim making effective. Henceforth, take the front seat loh. Or choose lady cab driver loh, but also risky, she may send the victim to her boyfriend place. he he.

When I was young, I skipped class for a few days, during the break, for a trip. I took the initiative and asked for advanced lesson plan/homework, but the teacher simply refused. It was kind of stressful to play catch up, but I was more bothered about the teacher. Wondering why she did that.... As a kid, what teacher says is important.

End of the world? I only know that it will happen on a day that cannot be predicted.
One thing is sure, sooner or later we all must die (e.g. recent disasters). May not even live long enough to see the end of the world.
Agree w/ cashiertan -- Try to refocus on whatz really important as time is always clicking....whether we like it or not.

Just a thought : How come the taxi driver is not affected by the spray ? Is it bcos he puts on a mask or he has a counter chemical or the spray is aim only to the back seat ?
More practical one is huge meteoric stone hits the earth, then all living things show hands leow. An article shown in Discovery Ch 2 to 3 weeks ago.
My frd also sent me the taxi's story, lately. It can be happened anywhere loh???
Another taxi's story in JB- the old lady taxi driver took an hr to send me to my friend new shop at Nusa Jaya, fr Larkin Bus terminal. She pretended not so sure of the place. I even went down the cab to ask people around. At my friend place, she charged me 50 ringgit. My frd told her off, 15mins distance cost 50?? Finally, I only paid her 30. On retrun trip back to bus terminal, other cab took me 15.
Nostradamus revelations?
I read some doomsday books before. They predict 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2006... etc... all didn't come true.

AK driving habit is always 10km below the allowable speed limit on road. ds is my first traffic offence after 26 yrs of driving on the road. class 2 licence also kena taken away. start next yr, hv to go thro' the hassle of driving test again, sigh.

My son's mid year result is not very good. All band 3 except for maths. I was hoping that they will give some kind of revision classes during the holiday but they didn't. To me, mid year holiday is a time to reflect and catch up for those that lag behind. Because school schedule is so hectic that catching up on lagging subjects are almost impossible. But for Dec, it should be time for relax and going on holidays since all the school cirriculums for that year is over.
