my advise - hold a bit longer maybe until the fund is in somewhere in nov moreover  3Q result is coming out. I maybe wrong, final decision/choice is your....good luck

 

Thanks for sharing KiLrOy, I hold on to this becz of recognising its potential for investment. But the price seems to be quite stagnant and not much volumn.... but, I think I will hold on for a while more and may want to put some $ in Sinostar as advised by Veteran

 

CE entered oversold (doesnt mean its a buy signal) territory today with the downward trend showing strength.  With today's gapped down session, its a total of six lower low sessions.  Testing 1.30SGD support in the coming sessions again.  For the value investors, this is a good opportunity to accumulate when the trend starts to reverse.

Thanks for the advice. Quite bad now, the price of CE went down further... good to cut lost and switch as everything seems so unclear...

 

 

sold off mine my China Energy  xxx at $1.72 on 1 oct and switch to Sinostar with all the cash bought 63 to 70cts..sinostar's profit is ab the same as CE....hve been holding CE since its first day of listing..bought at 92cts..may be using all the profits to bank on sinostar again shd it drop to 65 to 70cts

Sinostar may be another China Energy? In that case, Sinostar will be in for trouble.

Deutsche Bank downgraded its investment recommendation for China Energy to "hold" from "buy", citing rising costs due to higher global methanol prices.

 

Sinostar may be another ChinaEnergy...

Coincidence, the stock moved on warrant expiry. 

 See that many china-related stock moved also, most likele anticipating the buying of the china funds on singapore exchange red chip.
 

 

Just hold tight here ... no much prospect to this counter ... but still can move up.. Will up  only because of oil price.  This counter is the opposite of Ouhua.  Once DME has completeed their research think market will have competitor.  Not big, but think that that's only its product.  Good news is, goverment gives them support.

 

Hi Kilroy....din get to see your posting here, I din keep track of this thread. Yah, I saw China Engery going down (my guess) and too bad, my guess was right, another leg DOWN. If you have picked up at 136-138, I think is safe. 10 lots at 138, per 1¢ jump is $1000, good $$ right.....! SO you decided to quit kopi $$ now...hahaha. FYI, I am at Synear and PFood, good return. Still holding and may hold for longer term. Well, if you still keen in kopi $$, SYNEAR, should have another leg UP, probably $1.82 before coming down...no harm considering...lol....I am not so lucky lah, Sometime oni.

China Energy huh? This one nearly got me dead if not for idesa168's luck.

Idesa168, I think I didnt tell you I bought similar size lots at 1.43SGD days back to average my price and when it went back up to 1.46, I unloaded all.  Still make a little but nerve wrecking.  Enuff doing the kopi $, back to my boring portfolio style for SG Stock. :)

Merill lynch has got a batch of warrant (48000 lots, 1:2) going to expire in Sep 28, going at $1.2 strike price. Not sure the recent CE price being capped at 1.45 - 1.49 might be due to this. CE going too high , ML going to lose. Let see whether CE  will change after sep28 or closer to that date.

Overall daily chart may seems bearish and I must agree with you.  I drew a downward regression channel and was expecting 30 AUG session to drop right back into the channel but it didnt. It then became a range play between 1.46 - 1.51 and I am playing that range.  You may be right that there MAY be a possibility of another downward price action as the trend tends to follow the recent one which is down.  Lets hope I can cover on a bounce before the avalanche starts. ;)

 

Kilroy, are u sure with this counter? My view is that there will be another leg DOWN to about 139/140 range. Just watch out...I may be wrong. Good Luck!
