DAEGU (South Korea) - Coal, propelled by rising use in China and India, will surpass oil as the key fuel for the global economy by 2020 despite government efforts to reduce carbon emissions, says energy consultancy firm Wood Mackenzie.

Global coal consumption is expected to rise by 25 per cent by the end of the decade to 4,500 million tonnes of oil equivalent, overtaking oil at 4,400 million tonnes, according to Woodmac in a presentation at the World Energy Congress yesterday.

The two Asian powerhouses will need the comparatively cheaper fuel to power their economies, while demand in the United States, Europe and the rest of Asia will hold steady.

" China's demand for coal will almost single-handedly propel the growth of coal as the dominant global fuel," said Mr William Durbin, president of global markets at Woodmac. " Unlike alternatives, it is plentiful and affordable."

Unless a guardian angel or knight in shining armour like Ezion to YHM.....do a RTO.....or proposed someway to save it from the galo or incinerator.........by pump in huge $$$ and present a good plan and proposal to justify continuing listing............... BUT it have huge float of shares in the market already................keep issuing rights when needs money............

Listed companies with 3 years(FY)
of consecutive looses will be put on watch list and subsequently will be forced to be delisted from SGX.. after a period of suspension.

Not a good sign for those vested. Notice sellers outnumbered buyers at 0.001. Today's 223,304 done by sellers against remaining 17,819 buyers in the queue.

This is in comparison to previous trading session whereby done volume less than the buy queue. In short, hoping to see more in the buy queue rather than those willing to sell at 0.001.

Anyway, I guess by next week, this counter could be back to normal again, ie: buy queue would be gone. Sellers for 0.001 would have to queue.

(Just an opinion only, NOT a buy nor sell call)

i would rather load at higher price than 001. because of the risk.
