Wow! Wow!
Tomorrow going to shoot up to $1 liao. Congratulation to all shareholders.
The $23 million contract from Shell was for electrical works at its Ethylene Cracker Complex, while a $17 million deal from Oiltanking was for the construction of a biodiesel storage facility.

Thanks for your feedback guys.
Looks like their cut off for full allocation was 1200 excess; afterwhich they tried to satisfy those who needed to make up their odd lots.
Good management...takes care of shareholders.
applied for 800 to balance up my portfolio got 800
applied for excess rights of 1400, only got 400.
Looks like sellers of 'rights' entitlement have dried up.
Resuming upward trend.
Picked up somemore at 81.5cts yesterday.
Rights Entitled and Applied = 4800
Excess applied = 1200
Excess alloted = 1200
I applied for my entitlement of 3,200 shares and also applied for excess of 5,800. I am successful in getting excess of 800 shares.
To analyse how companies decide on allotment of excess, would appreciate if members can share how many excess shares they were allotted vs excess shares applied vs rights entitlement.....
Thanks
I have just checked the internet. I am successful in the excess application. However, only 800 shares. I suppose they grant me this no. so that I have whole lot and not ending up with odd lots :)
Agree that JV will not have immediate impact to share price. It is still a +ve devmt over the mid-term 'cos as shplayer had mentioned it will certainly position Rotary better for engineering contracts in region eg Thailand with the extended complementary skills-set of OKP.
No impact at all. If however, the JV is with a Middle-East Arab company .... wow it'll shoot to the sky. That's unfortunately how the market sees things.
Ok, read the announcement again.......the JVA is for the purpose of undertaking CIVIL ENGINEERING works in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry in Spore.
This implies that it is expansionary for Rotary because civil engineering it is a business that Rotary is currently not involved in.
Just announce on SGX, JVA between Rotary and OKP.

Seems like a logical move but what I'm perplexed about is why is Rotary taking a minority 45% stake in the JVA.
Certainly, Rotary's part of the business (oil & gas process systems) has higher technical/technology content, value added and margins compared with OKP's civil engineering business (roads, highway construction). Hence, Rotary should have been able to leverage a lead role.
is it worth keeping?. Would TA expert commet on the trend. Thanks
still holding.. i believe the best is still to happen
Why should the price gap down???? It has already done so on the XA date.
Whizzer, I dun know for sure how low it will gap down. It's not an exact science, may not be as low as 53 cts. Maybe 5 cts lower. Today's volume is 2.2 million on the low side, shows there is no selling pressure yet. There is certainly dilution in earnings per share with an enlarged capital base.
Thanks cng444. Will check it out again. Good luck !
