This is a good counter, everyone know that. DBS is still the Leader in long run. No one can or dare to overtake. Switching to OCBC is not wise at all. Next Quarter OCBC earning going to be affected by Great Eastern.

thanks for encouragement, but personally very disappointed. they r the largest bank in S.E.A n our mother bank in Singapore, hw can they just let those rich BB shoot it dwn..............................after report NET PROFIT............is net profit all along and they r not like B.O.A, AIG loss before at all......................................well just let out my steam n no offence to any...............................................loss is loss me hv to accept it and move on to a better n secure bank liao.............cheers...............

it is such a big disappointment!!! everyone is green and this one still sleeping!!!

This is the main reason, share price of UOB is always leading.

 

Just for sharing, Earning per share for 2nd Quarter of our 3 local Banks.

DBS = 24.4 Cents

UOB = 30.8 Cents


OCBC = 14.5 Cents

With these kinds of earning, PE ratio for all the 3 banks are about 12 to 13.

 

How long have you kept it?

 

This counter kept so long already.  All in made some good money. On top of this every 3 months got a few thousand dollars (mostly 14 cents dividends every 3 months) dividend payouts.
