*patpat* singaporegal, keep yourself warm and cosy yea. never good to fall sick. giantlow, you too. :)

bunnie dahling...yea, elf's a purebred convent girl. ie, ten full years. proud of it and wouldn't change it for the world. :)

hm, yea shplayer. Not sure, but from your tone perhaps you might be too young to be a wise old godpa? give you a choice...wanna be god uncle, or ta gege, or what? :)

and my dearest pet, i do believe fairygal is too young to be a fairy godmother..at least, not in the cinderella disney cartoon sense. She'd probably make a pretty tinkerbell tho....

ok, elf a bit grumpy now and thorough lack of sleep. just home and showered. gonna have dinner now and wanna sulk a bit. tata.

*hugs bunnie goodnight*

godpa, me simple minded, cannot keep up with more than one parental guidance, that's why let only you adopt me. maybe shplayer can consider adopting me as god-niece. good eh? one godpa, one god-uncle and then one fairy godma (fairygal,). i like fairy godma. in a fairy tales, fairy godmas grant wishes *big smile* then all these fatherly, unclely and motherly figures can give me good advice on what counters to make $$ *even bigger grin*

shplayer, don't read too much into my words :) 'into convent gals' can simply mean appreciating ladies from missonary schools. afterall, they are rather different due to the kind of environment they were exposed to as compared to a co-ed school. in general, they just have different "thinking wavelengths" :)

elf, i think this kinda r/s better than to have 2 godpas? roles are clearly defined. hahaha.

fairygal, i think elf is from convent 'coz of the way she pens her thoughts. initial guess was she may be from Nanyang, but then thought better of it. think she either belongs to IJs (incld St. Nicks) else she muz be from RGS. elf, where you from?

Livermore and giantlow, email the tax office in spore and reply is that interest expense on margin loan is not tax deductible.

The reason is that the capital gains from ur shares when sold are also not taxable. There is no tax loss deduction in spore too.

Now i better understand why not many sporeans take up margin loans.

BUNNIE,

I like it that u only want to have one godpa.

Do not worry,u have made a good choice in choosing me.

Cheers

thanks, fairygal for your graciousness... and yes, we stay sane keeping in touch with nature, the wilderness...

ya loh, bunnie..  i did realise i have committed the greatest sin.. and the only excuse I guess is jet lag.. (as you can see from my posts, I still waking in the wee hours of the day)

re your coming trip to Belgium, I presume you would go to Brussels - I really enjoyed the Grand-Place (Dutch: Grote Markt), and having a table in the central market square having a pot of moule (mussels) and bottle of wine..around you would be the Gothic magnificence of the Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall)  and the Baroque exuberance of the late seventeenth-century guildhouses surrounding the square.

the other thing to look for is the Maneken Pis... when I found it, I was amazed at the size (I shall leave it to you to check it out so that I will not spoil your fun) ...

re London, personally I would skip it nowadays..  it has lost its charm I thot.. too many tourists, and particularly for you who has frequent India, some people now call it Lundistan - and you can understand why - i need not explain for you will experience it even as you land in Heathrow...

but do have a good trip, and do go to Belgium..

Elffieee

No I was not confused when i sold off my ST Engg yesterday.

I better get off while i am still infront b4 today's announcement.

When i said that ST Engg will go up,i mean i believe in the longer term it will continue to go up.

On the same argument,I have SPC,which i also believe will go up in the long run.And SPC divvy yield is better.

Do not worry about me,elf,I have manny costly mistakes and have never look back.Funny about me,after i week or less,u sort of get over the loss(if any).

On same token,i have made manny hefty gains. So it all comes down to ur own yearly profit and loss.

I like to measure share mkt profit and loss in yearly fashion.Typical Accountant. So now is only February, awhile to go b4 year end.

From accounting point of view,Divvy is also consider "profits".

Cheers and sleep tight.

bunn.....ie

Ur style and mine are north pole and south pole.

Most of the time, shares i bot in spore for longer  term and not in and out type.

95% of my shareholding are in australia so have to jaga australia more than spore.Besides in spore limited by money power.

Do not get me wrong,i like to make money anywhere in the world.

So convent girls meet christian brothers?

bunbun,

Not quite sure what you mean by 'into convent girls'?

Do you mean  fancy them? have 'fantasy' over them? tsk tsk....thot godpas are supposed to be above that...the more 'paternalistic sort....if you know what I mean...or perhaps not....dont't mistake 'godpas' with 'sugar daddies'.......

As for me...I don't have enough $$$$to be the latter.....but...if you will accept a poor 'sugar daddy', then who am I to object.
