He is sad and wants a little bit of retreat.  Not only Midas movements have really put him on a spot, some "people's" postings too. Cheer up Rich Tan, don't give up on your endeavours.

Midas will move when fin year result is near... If got a few hundred million contract from the chinese gov still dont make good profit... Something must be very wrong...

vest at 28cent 35cent 50-54cents and 70cents, waiting to acculmuate if below 80cent.

Investment horizon 3 yr - 5yr from 2009.. Dont forget that midas place out a chunk of stock for expansion plan to institutional investor at higher price this yr.

Generally institutional investors still perform much better than avg retail investor..

But if price drop, just avg up somemore.. But my forcast is alittle off, didnt touch $1.00 by 2009..

When correction start, is always good to buy..

wait long long. Even people uneducated in TA can see that Midas alreadi fallen through support trend line since March and has rebounded up today with a black candle just underneath that support trendline. Amazing how delusional can people get.Smiley

The argument of TA vs FA will be forever debated, perhaps just diff opinions. Anyway if sufficient amount of investors believe in TA (for all the right/wrong reasons), effectively it will affect the trend. Bad performance today, wait another day ba..

How I see it is that TA is merely the study of the movement / trend of a stock whereas the fundamentals of a stock is what drives it prices. In this sense, the study of the fundamentals makes more sense in terms of investing. Even a strong trend upwards can be reversed easily by a couple of bad news.

TA or FA whichever is not important.  Important is the investers in general use what tools to base on to execute an action.  so the value in TA can never be underestimated.  I use mostly TA for an Trending period n more of FA for trading period.  Everyone has their own tactic cos these are only tools.

I'm sure Mr. Rich Tan can rebutt to that.

I actually think that TA is quite nonsensical most of the time. Its like saying Midas must break 84 c before going to 845 c.... Sorry but I just think its silly. The only indicator I use is moving averages. FA still trumps all eventually

Trend reversal quite possible since it tried 80.5 cents yesterday.  The strong resistance of 90 cents must try to break for it to go beyond.

MACD turning up, RSI rebounding from 30 up, impending upcoming contracts, relatively cheap now. Initial resist at 0.86, hope can beak this today. Vested. Good luck to all! Smiley

There may be a short term rebound to 86c bcos the 2nd leg of the stochastic chart (bottom graph) is higher than the 1st leg while the price (top graph) went down.
