agreeed yongjiu. When u see the word "bargain hunting" at the "peak" of the index, u know what that means. But confidence is still very strong (as evident by strait times report of STI's biggest one day plunge since May correction but no "hoo ha"), however, might not equate to buying power at this late stage. Bull exhausted. I dont'e believe people are still buying centillion. Texchem, not today sorry. The blue chips are correcting. Once the penny stocks are done, like they say "when the tides recede, you get to see who's not wearing swimming trunks." Cheong ohh. (5 cens)

With the strong closing today, STI has more than compensated for the correction on Monday. Further upside is expected. Hope tonight's US market will do well.

Yup, but seems like the S'pore government is painting a GREEN pix of our economy recently ... Like they want STI to stay at its scary height!

I was wary much earlier after STI record runs (lesson learnt from May's huge correction), but its now like: "What the heck! Let's see how high STI can go now." to me .... Let's be patient and wait see what's going to happen in November.

Caution as market is too expensive to buy into now. Trade with care ya!

yoz, when in bear or uncertain market, the markets will dip or will not move. this is becoz the smarter and savvy investor would play safe and sit at the sideline to see the small players kana fried left right center.

even with the increase, u got see the volume? it doesnt look like a real rebounce to me w/o volume. expect 2to3 days of red for every 1 day of green.

i closed more than half of my stocks on friday thus this dip doesnt affect me much. hope many bros has taken the warning from me and other gurus and exit their trades last week.

Yalor, Cashiertan .... Tot the improved S'pore GDP news for next year would boost STI today. Haahaa!!

Anyway, it managed to stay afloat and closed GREEN - guess its due to the better S'pore employment data out this afternoon.

US market not doing well now after data out a while ago showed a lower consumer confidence & Chicago PMI. *Sigh!!!

I think many people are waiting for more signals from US market tonight. Based on the little that I learnt about Candlesticks, it looks like a reversal is on the card. That is to say that US market will probably end higher tonight.

billywows,

u never fail to amazed me with ur remarks... lolz.. what has last day of oct got to do with market rebounce?

DOW and STI should see little green for 1 day before red for 2 days. it is a normal cycle. with little vol, it shows that the market is watching by the side while small retail players enter to try their luck. WIth no real support. hard to have a real solid rebounce.
