Indeed I just got back to Sg this morning, last whole week I was in total CNY mood, with the limited internet access it certainly has reduce my cyber addiction =)

Any way, may wish you, bunbun, and every one in SJ a wonderful golden piggy ahead and 开工大吉 tomorrow!!!

 

But acting is a skill, an art. If it is a science then it must be terrible boring for us. Acting can also be for the greater good, not necessarily out of pretension or falsehood. So long we make people happy, nothing wrong with acting. Many prefer comedy or fairytale than tragedy anyway.

人生短暂,得尽欢时就尽欢.

 

"Life's A Stage" suggests life is all acting.

Well, personally, I think acting in real life is not the way to go. That would be like playing poker, which can be all false pretension but with underlying untruth and falsehood.

I'd rather treat life as a neutral "platform" where all things exist together, the falsehood as well as the real truth. And on this platform, history and the affairs of man can change in the future, as they did in the past.

 

Life's a stage? One should read the famous Bard's "As You Like It" for his prolific writing on the subject.

 

The TV actor Adrian Pang is my favourite TV person.

He's got the sophistication I admire very much. Great guy...

I especially like it when he was acting with Fiona in that funny ghosts show.

celestial still looks good for contra-ing leh. if u want to play, try to enter at 1.63 to 1.64. can also try looking at Capitaland, probably break $8 very soon. but the best counter to look at is allgreen. TA signs are very good. more importantly, elf is monitoring this counter closely. heehee

gah. bunnie, try not to keep contra-ing lah....'cos even for TA ppl, i mean, we can tell you a counter is likely to go up, but for us to be right that it does go up, and within a certain period of time as well is very difficult. that's two criteria to fulfil; one is already very difficult....



elf kinda stress on allgreen now man....think a lot of ppl riding on it....eep.....stressssss......

also, i think i should cut down on my contra-ing. other than celestial made $, indofood made me lose much. maybe should look into playing short-term investment instead :) but if anyone can recommends counters for sure gain via contra, of coz me (and i'm sure others) will be keen to look at too *big smile*

Mmmm very right about Arabic but think it is a difficult language with it's dao-gei like words. What's more it's written from right to left (not used to it). Need new mindset to get use to it. Too used to alphabet based langu ages (English, German, even Hanyu Pinyin, Bahasa, Malayu) etc.

You do not have to worry this year due to the recent launch of Wireless@SG. It is an initiative by our dear govt to provide free internet to all at public places Orchard Road... shopping malls etc etc. They started with 600 hotspots around Singapore and no. will increase rapidly to a few thousands hotspot. Google wireless@sg and you will find a lot of info abt it. To be a true blue Singapore, sign up with all 3 provider, namely Singtel, don't know name but sponsored by Creative and last one is by M1 (i think). It's free! 



So all you need is a wi-fi ready laptop and you can logon almost anywhere. Actually places like MacDonald also provide free access! Worst case, sign on to your neighbours' network. Many people despite knowing it's dangerous, still do not password protect their network. Don't say I didn't warn you; It is illegal!!!

 

talking of internet access by chinkiasu and trading while on holidays.

While i on holidays in spore all my internet availability comes to great difficult.

If i stayed at marine parade,the nearest internet access is at the MP library.But they want some kind of cash card.So i have to buy it off students.Very mah fun.

if i stay with my mum,near Peace centre,worst still,cannot find anywhere have internet access.

Anybody care to advise?
