The very first time I come to the forum here is not to get tips or what, rather to learn and share.. There is nothing better than yourself to make good judgement when forumers posted their own views though some with their own technical analysis   but one should not just take that as the tips. When I post, I usually want to make clear that is my own personal view as I don't want to derive you from believing this is the tips as I am not a tipster, just want to share my technical analysis and hope if someone providing comments to my post, I will very much accept as we learn from each other in the process..

Why I named myself star-trader, because the very first time I came here, I was fascinated with a forumer called 'Bintang' -> in Malay it is called " Star" .
He provided a very good insight on technical analysis of any stocks and I do really appreciate that..

Chill up guys, and happy weekend..

Most tips in forum r mosty rubbish traps.

Good advise is good, but so call tips r all bullshiit and rubbish. 2 r very different things, but many r confusing.

*Once we drive out of road, we r all at the mercy of deadly accident. No matter how good your skill r, the most we can do is try hard to be more safe out there.

Many stock newbies look in forums for 'good tips'...

The result is that some newbies  new will really take a post at face value.

The result can be disastrous, as they are not discerning enough to

know that no one knows the market's next move... Smiley

When i say boring or non exciting, i am refering to business opportunities. Here, all the "hor thun"businesses r dominated by the G.R.C! Stock market should be viewed as part time, if one is to focus all his time n energy In stock markets, He will probably end out with nothing!

This is an exciting place in that as long as one treats stocks as betting game, one

would have started on the right footing. Just as one will find excitement in a casino... Smiley

Playing stocks is not a matter of trusting anyone...

It is all about understanding the nature of the market.

When one has played stocks long enough, one will naturally

come to understand the nature of the market. This is especially true

of those who have experienced many cycles of highs and lows.

But in the prcess of learning, many years would have been be lost... Smiley

This is a boring n frustrating place with little opportunity, young guys express their views or share their hopes by touting hi or lo make no harm. Forumer should exercise their judgement n trust no one!

When playing stocks, the safest way is to treat it as betting, and nothing more.

Stocks are different from companies( businesses) they are two different animals.

A good company's stock can gyrate beyond anyone's wildest imagination,

while a mediocre or borderline company's stock can also do the same.

Thus, one can easily lose one's shirt if one does not recognise this fact... Smiley

Thank you, sifu, for the kind words...

It is really sad to see newbies believing that people can tell the market diection and trend.

Believing in the wrong things, or simply believing in something, is problematic.  Smiley

It really doesn't matter what anyone believes...

If one is so confident, one should just " mau " heavily on it.

This automatically eliminates the ego factor...

But never asking others to follow suit... Smiley

Alright if no one believes me , i believe myself genting sp will go up.

Because this is the classic case of sell on rumor buy on news.

Wait for price to go up.  :)

Wait for what????????

1. Better earning - not likely

2. Dividend payout - not possible, no money. Just raise perpetual   bond.

3.Unfavourable policies ahead.

Plus plus plus plenty more.

My personal views only.

Recent news that many other venues are going to  have casinos too won't help...

Plus, local gamblers may have had their run, so the weakening is not unexpected..  .Smiley

Looking at Market condition & degree of unknown of GenSp successful to increase earnings,

I expect GenSp to return to expectations during pre-casino opening of  May 2010 to trade at 95cts to S$1.08 where GenSp
