YongJiu,

How to sell in this market today?  For me, it's better to hold and wait.  I don't see any good reason for the world markets to crash at this time.  The DOW futures are now up 47 pts, Shanghai is up 45 pts and STI has recovered to a loss of 121 pts (from 190 pts loss).  So, I think it's a good sign for some technical retracement tomorrow.

geojam,

Miyoshi just reported giving 5 cents per share Bonus Dividends, exchangeable for 1-for-2 rights issue at 10 cents each.  Date payable and books closure date are to be announced later.

Lee Kim Tah is into shopping centre, ie Jurong Point and residential development. I love shopping centres, not for shopping myself, but more for its potential.

Nope, I'll be just looking, from a distance.  Don't think this correction will end today.

Fairygal,

Yep, that's what my wife's friends say:  After 3 months, it'll go to cold storage and seldom be used again (because too leh-cheh) until probably before CNY.  By then it could have spoilt also due to prolong period of non-use.

The machine is not faulty, it's cos it's so powerful, the power cannot support it, unless I switch off some other electrical appliances before it's being switch on.  Good cleaning capability, but bulky and tedious to wash.

Who was it who mentioned he has a Osim Mermaid at home?  So, is this Osim Mermaid easy to clean up after use like what the salesperson demonstrated?

Bottomline, a $3 mop or a $2 broom works equally well, and convenient as well. Sometimes, in life, simple things are still the best!

Fairygal,

Why your VAX no guarantee meh?  Last month, the RAINBOW saleswoman also came to demonstrate.  She wants me to put $50 for deposit if I want to hesitate in my purchase so as to maintain the "Special Offer" price.  My wife was ever so eager to, but I stopped her.  In the end, we didn't buy because later we heard from some of her friends that after 3 months, you'll put in the storeroom and can't be bothered to use again.  A broom is still the most convenient.  Afterall we don't have carpeting in our house.

No la, I am not referring to counters.  I am talking about shopping as in Timberland, Adidas, North Face, shopping in shopping centres like those of Capitamall.......Bought a Vax vaccum cleaner years ago, costs over $600. The salesperson made it seems so easy to use.  By the time I turn on the switch at home, .......POW!  Whole house blackout!  Now white elephant and take up space! Mop cheap and reliable!

geojam,

That's 1 of the reason why I buy Miyoshi. I'm also queuing for another 100 lots at $0.23, but I think this is difficult lah.

Fairygal,

Don't like that leh. I already have about 10 white (and dead) elephants in my portfolio now.  Hoping to get some shark fins now, but hopefully don't get eaten by the sharks instead :)

Reits divvy is qtrly basis, ya, agree it's more steady. I know all my buildings inside out! Nay, just kidding. Think if the building is closer to home, I will feel more secure, and more reason for me to go jalan-jalan there.

I_tan888,

Don't worry, it's normal to buy and buy, only to realise you have accumulate lots of white elephants in the house. Over the years, you will learn, thus the word.....wise, and wiser.
