Greenspan:  yeh, monday I kiar the markets with recession.  tTuesday, markets will surely lou-sai and then you and me go in to buy buy buy.  wednesday, you cho the ho-lang and declare nothing unusal, or maybe even growth expected this year.
Bernanke :  then what?

Greenspan:  wednesday and thursday we sell into profit lah.
Bernanke :  hmm..... good idea.  also need some money lately lah.  The democrats now very strict.  petrol allowance cut, housing allowance cut, office air-con can only set at 25 deg, lights must switch off when not in use,..........

Greenspan:  ok, so set ah.  profit 50/50 ok.
Bernanke :  (a little hesitation), set lah old bird.

Hangup.

Thanks for sharing your suggestions on FA stocks.



Considering your young age, I'm surprised at your familiarity and repertoire of the oldies.  However, it's true that these oldies and sentimentals are valueless.  I'd really enjoyed all those artists.  I do have a few of those old LDs (those antiquated dinosaur discs) like ABBA, Carpenters, BeeGees, Carly Simon, Teresa Teng (concert in Japan), Air Supply, Barbra Streisand (her songs are a bit slow though), Gloria Estefan, Kitaro, M Jackson (Dangerous, which I particularly like the song Heal The World), Sadao Watanabe (could be your favourite Jazz), Vanessa Mae in Royal Albert Hall, Whitney Houston (concert inside the American aircraft carrier, USS Saratoga), Eagles, Sally Yeh, Hokkien and English old hits karoakes, and the list goes on..., which I enjoy very much and would still watch them once in a while.  My original LD player had already konked out and I purposely went to Sim Lim Tower to get a second hand one.  New LD players cannot be found anymore lah.

Hello all! Have had alot of fun following the thread - especially after a very 'sai' week - and its only Wed.

I picked up some bank shares yesterday. Was like in a mad shopping spree - very greedy, in queues for several counters. Wanted to get more today but decided that i should just STOP.

 

bunbun no play contra this week how to get chao ta? alamak, u all think i BS ah? really no play since this week (thou was tempted on elf's AG call. hahaha).



but today bought 2. betting on rebound tomorrow and hopefully hte next few days to come. so let's all cross fingers :)



elf, me like carpenters too. in fact more of an oldies person myself than those current hip-hop. but like soft rock too :) am into audiophiles nowadays. should try sissel if u can get hold of her music. else, next time meet u pass u the CD :)
