Food-- you got the right person!  You have to love food, love eating, and my friends always say the way I eat make all food look delicious!  No lah, I enjoy eating, from homecook to hawker centre to restaurants. But sometimes, it's not worth it to pay so much for something you can prepare yourself!  I esp enjoyed eating Hainanese Chicken Rice on the Swiss Alps, cooked myself of course!

Steamed egg, so simple, so cheap, why pay $5 to eat at Jap rest? Want the recipe to make tofu-like steamed egg?

fairygal from malacca har? Heard that place has alot of historical sites for former colonial kings and queens? But down there muz have car to travel ard then can really enjoy the site. In fact for Msia, a car is a MUST as compared to Spore :)

Singapore is an expensive place, but it can be economical as well.  It all depends on how you live each day.  Movie tickets are not cheap, so go for off-peak time, it's cheaper.  A car does not equate luxury, cos sometimes, it's a necessity.  Concerts, musicals are luxuries, Phantom tix for e.g, for my family of 4, one of the cheaper range, costs in total $288. Restaurants?  That includes MacDonalds, not cheap at all!  Anyway, too much rich food is bad for our health. Travel- necessity? It all depends.  Life is too fast-paced here.  Sometimes going away is good for bonding, tho not necessary, and fulfilling long time dreams. Life is short.  I want to be able to do hiking, the rugged way to travel while I am still mobile.  That's what life is all about. By the time when I am immobile, no amount of money can change that fact.

While it is still within the first 15 days of CNY, here's wishing all of you good health always !
