analysis rate this one above $1 see what happened. Ya many will say it due to overall bad market sentiment but before the analysis rate it - should have forseen the Euro side of the problem that cause ruipple effect and bring almost all stocks price down like waves of Tsunami.
In Sept already hit hard then all recover abit then the 2nd and 3rd wave hits. the sea become so choppy. Many on board big ship also jump into the sea in hope to survive but when too many leave ships though it was stable , it also being rock badly........... then many still onboard starts to worry - u jump I jump :) all Unsure.
While making deciision to jump off rocky ship or not - the bloody Italy supposed to help stable the Euro but become culprit that adds on to the hope....... earthquake..like world ending............no ending bad news that cause further damage - the earth like become unstable. hope no armageddon yet.
If friday 18-nov-11, dow goes down 200 point today. Monday Swiber target price 53-55 cent .
Earnings distorted by exceptional items. The 25.3% fall in Swiber’s average
share price of S$0.78 in 2Q to S$0.58 in 3Q had resulted in a 9.1%
reduction in fair value of convertible bond owed by company, boosting the
bottom line by US$9.4m. Meanwhile, the sharp appreciation of the USD
against the Asian currencies had also contributed to a US$4.4m forex gain.
If these exceptional items were to be removed, the group would have
reported a net loss of US$0.3m.

haha wish they were looking at this forum ! swiber sux, got business deals n win contracts but nvr issue dividends, invest where i also duno, assets nvr grow much. $$ go buy coffee huh

Why we calling Nol,Nobel group,Keppel,Starhub,Singtel, etc all we calling Blue chip.
When company got profit it sharing the profit to the share holder and giving bonus share and divdend.
What swiber give to all ???????
Example:
1)singtel divdend for 2011 : Total 19 cent if we invest 4000 share approxmately i got s$ 800 this year our profit or intrest for our money.
2)starhub divdend for 2011 : Total 20 cent if we invest 4000 share approxmately i got s$ 900 this year our profit or intrest for our money.
If you invest our money in swiber what we get.
How the share price go up , buying who will buy , Fundmanager or small invester like u and me.we need some profit or gain which we invest our money in share.

very funny thing is after the results announcement, nobody interested to trade in this stock anymore!
I really doubt so too...this stock can't break 60.5c nowadays...how can it goes up to 70c or 80c...don't be fool by this stock or analysts. analysts are paid to 'talk'.

ya...lousy stocks and management bah.. they won't think for the shareholders' pockets...dividends? really doubt so
should force tis counter do issue dividends... wif dividend payout this will rise ....but too bad
This stock always shows Long finger to share holder No dividend .
If somebody invest for long term for 2 to 5 years you will get same long finger again and again.
Very good Singapore yellow chip.
