U are smart.Yes maybe i will come back to stay 6 months and then back in perth for 6 months.

Can only 6 months cos spore govt.cannot extent after that.

So u think 2 of S$2200 a month ok,with no car.

This morning i was playing with the on line ASX(E-trade) and key in commonwealth bank shares.

I just key in buy 2500 shares at A$49 a share.

They say review order.I tot i pressed review,but suddenly they say order processed.Alamak,panic.Cost is about A$122,600.

Luckily,3 hours later px went up to A$49.80,quickly sell and some kopi $$$.hahah

 

After a plate of great Chicken Rice, I have a small glass of "Ngou Ga Puay" (wujiapi jiu)...  :)

So, are you & yr wife planning to come back to live in S'pore at $2.2k/mth?  2 years time, here also got casino wah, same same like Perth.  I've been to there before but forgot its name already.  I was told that they made their profit after only 10 months of opening.  True or not?

Alamak!  Chicken Rice is good only if the rice, the chicken, the chilli, the ginger, and the soup are all good! However, you find them, pretty good ones everywhere here, tho not easy to get one all rounded.  The Mandarin Hotel's Chatterbox used to served up pretty good one, but chef  not there anymore, so now not so good.

From this thread, I can tell that there is no such thing as generation gap.  As long as one is willing to communicate, age is no barrier. Just broaden your scope of interest.

The only singer I listen to is Elvis Presley, and no on else.

Johnny Lion & Jumping Jewels is the band that sing ... lion sleeps tonite... ? I tink they do the same style as Cliff Richard & Shadows. That is an instrumental band with a lead singer? I like Shadows and now should go listen some Jumping Jewels music.

Btw I don't call them handsome young studs lah.. stud is horse leh... or maybe the horse jewels is highly prized after so ppl named it as young stud? How about young mare? :P

Someone mentioned in some thread here that he won't like the idea of having to face someone whom he dislikes living forever.

Hahaha... I believe he has a valid point there.

But I believe 40 years from now, with advances (along with all other fields) in human genetics and cloning in the biotech field, human cloning and consciousness transferrance would be an everyday affair.

But by then, I believe laws would also be in place to ensure only the deserving can taste the benefits of being cloned.

One of my fav groups is "The Jumping Jewels"

The group of ageing men you see in the video below are the same men who played in the 60's when they were all handsome young studs.

asterisk: little richard songs is more bluesy hard rock like chuck berry. Although I like them but I like the british and american hard rock better. Del Shannon, Buddy Holly are some names that comes up.

Wonder those band members where they are now. Nursing kids at home while reminiscing about their glorious past? Hmmm..... soon it will be time for me to impart these music to my baby daughter once she grew up to appreciate daddy music of his times just like my father introduce Beatles to me!!!

Till today, despite heavymetal music, my God is still Beatles how I wish they would become immortal to continue making music until my offspring generation. Now immortality any1 knows where to find? :)
