Meridian looks big.  Most of the plots are 16x23m. No need so big for a couple with no children lah.  Got smaller house or not?  Also, preferrably single storey because later old age cannot climb up/down 5 times a day lah.

Now spore follow international style of paying divvy by how many cents per share.last time very confusing.

Here the companies at the beginning of year will tell u exactly,when is the AGM,the divvy announcement,when ex,all lay out.

The divvy announcement will be in the morning of the day,no 5 pm,or after closing etc...

Costs of living high---one plate of char keow teow is A$10.

Chicken rice is A$8.

Now building my house.have to put aside 2 rooms for my 2 goddaughter leh.

U can actually go to www.novus-homes.com.au click on display homes and my model is meridian.

Life is the same everywhere after a while,have to try to adjust and make money wherever u go.

why U say Perth not safe?  Like geojam said:  carry a stick and yr middle finger lah.  But will consider to take yr advice of a short term stay, problem is when I come back, my wife and me no more jobs to work lah.  Companies cannot suka suka let you go away for so long.......

 

I mean the choice is limit to  either Malaysia or Perth.

yes given up in May 1991.Took out CPF money,otherwise they will not let u take out.And have to force me to sell HDB flat.

I have no more asset in spore.I mean only those like my mum type.Personally i have nothing there.

yes i quickly book the tigerair for S$360 return in august this year.

here we buy and sell shares we talk og how many shares,like 2500 shares.

In spore u ppl say how many lots.

Can be confusing ,but now i get use to it.

 

Air tix into Australia may be cheap, $9.99 also possible.  It's the taxes that's jia lat.  For Aussie destination, taxes alone is more than $300.

I would suggest you go Perth for short stay, and what's more, go fishing with geojam.   Read so much from the papers about the safety aspect. Scary! Still FOR Perth if the choice is limit to these two.

Here no choice,must have car.

So ur house rental for 2 bedroon,not high class type,is A$200 a week.

A$800 month.

All up car expenses,rental,food,electricity,etccc

will be abot A$3000 per month.

Read today's news that Tiger Airways is starting the daily budget flights between S'pore and Perth from 1st of May.  So, all the more  U should come and go.

why don't I ask U this question:  how much is the average cost to stay in Perth, similarly for a couple?  No need for any fanciful living, but must also consider house rental, unless I can borrow 1 room from you (must pay you rental also lah), then we can go fishing together.
