Choo Hian,

Teochew?

Pikachu,

Can't speak hainanese?  You belong to the younger generation who speak more English or Mandarin?

Bunbun,

Thanks.  Then we will do up Geojam's place, I in charge gardening with herbs, and Elf's red and white roses.....Elf, you very loyal to S'pore leh!

ipunter,

No luck in Toto!  It's fine. What's not yours will never be yours.  Minus one winner in me, plus another winner in the population, still equals happiness.

burntbadbad,

Ya, forgot to tell you authors writing these books and publishers really know how to price these books.  Happy reading!

Good night to all!  Have a great weekend!

Warrants can easily wipe one out because it's so cheap to buy.

Hey elfie,

Sorry, no offence meant....its just that I am the blunt, direct sort...don't mince my words and have a 'call a spade a spade' mentality....as you said...'crude blatancy'.

I guess that also gets me into trouble and upset ppl at times. In fact, had to go to my daughter's school today for 'Meet the Teacher's Session'. Prior to leaving, she warned me not to tell off parents who inconsiderately hog the teachers' time whilst other parents are kept waiting for their turn.

Don't stress yourself too much with this correction. Everyone understands that the calls you make/made were all in good faith and if they acted on your calls, it was their decision and no one else. I noticed you took the trouble of  cautioning members in each and everyone of your calls. If anyone blames you for their losses, then my advice is that they are not worth getting stressed up over.

As for where the market is going.....if only I knew. As you know, I am almost all FA......so my assessment of my holdings is based primarily on the prospects and the value of the company. The gyrations of the market does not carry too much weight on whether I should liquidate or hold.

As for my 'vast' experience, all I can say is, I have been through major corrections....October 19 black monday; Pan Electric, Dot com bubble bust.......this correction, so far, is relatively mild compared to those gone by.

Have I learnt my lesson??? I guess not......during those crisis, I held onto my FA shares, and I am still doing the same for this correction......Is it dumb or what????? Perhaps, but its my $$$ and I am answerable only to myself.

So, elfie, my mei mei, don't let my or other's comments or this market correction get you down. Keep up your cheerfulness.

Still reading the book but think gonna take weekend to finish it. Yes, I agree its VERY tiring looking after a kid. Especially when he's learning how to move around in the house. Mine's 22 months old. I've decided he's gonna learn about personal finance and do much better than me as soon as he knows what addition and subtration is all about. He already knows ang baos go into his piggy bank and bigger coins given by grandma are better than small ones given by mummy! Are you going to teach your grandson how to invest when he's bigger?

shplayer. If you can say i've said it all, then, you understood it all already. In which case, why ask for crude blatancy when elegant clarity suffices?

But i'm very tired tonight. of making calls, of work, of life. I'm just a young girl a couple of decades, if not more, younger than you. I've posted more than enough calls already. Perhaps you, in your vast experience, could teach me instead? What do you think of the market now, where is it going?

godpa. Pretty house. And yea, no need two rooms. bunnie and i are more than happy to share. :) house facade looks a little bare tho...when it's all done up, remember to have plants, yea. Grow lovely, lush rambling roses. Make them red and white for me. :)

oh. and belated, but regarding ahbear. male or female i don't really care. as long as it's a bear, it's cute. *hugs!* keke. besides...as investors, we must always be nice to the bears. haha.
