If u have noticed, whenever BB throw their shares in bulk(1000 lots and above),there will be alot of panic selling. If only we can be united and not be affected by them. But then, think of it,human are still human. |

the company is giving out a dividend of 7.6% of $0.93 for 2010/2011 which is 6% of $1.15. if u hold the stock and wait for the dividend payout.. u will still get some of ur $ back as dividend.. which is like F/D but pays higher than F/D if u bought at 1.15

ya i only wanna hit n run but now kana hit pai ka cant run hahaha
prices r always fluctuating i dont believe it will stay like this for long
learnt alot from u guys. will be more careful next time
this may sound stupid but what u mean by divident yield? which u mentioned $1.15 the dividend yield is 6% based on $0.93
cos to me $1.15 - $0.93 = $0.22 (is 23% of $0.93)

in his case.. he doesnt have the holding power... so i dont think he will still hold on to it if it drops to 1.05 |

It depends on your strategy, whether u r short or long
term players. E.g. if u purchase at $1.15, u will have
a dividend yield of 6%, which is better than F/D. |

normally when something i holding drop more than 5cts or more.. i will tell myself to go and sleep.. 2molo will be a better day when it rebounce... unless the drop is due to fundamental factors like annual report fail to perform...otherwise.. i will just go sleep and wait it out.. lol

yes, thats the thing. but question is, when? before or after contra date? i think they already set the trap for contra players, so would not rise before the contra limit is up. if only i was this decisive in this morning, i could cut down my losses by 400. sigh. this morning unstable, no support and i hold.now got support i go sell. i donno why i silly enough to sell at the support level. o well.
johntanyg ( Date: 22-Oct-2010 15:03) Posted:
i get what u mean. as of now, the trend seems like all parties r accumulating at 1.12-1.13 n waiting for something to happen... once big fish collect enuff they will start to sell at higher price - thats my analogy... |

why would they have to bid higher price? they can simply short it down like what they did to make it drop from 1.17 to 1.12.. than slowly accumulate to cover their shorts.. and start from a lower price to accumulate again coz they have the capital.. but for retailers.. fear of losing money because they cant control the market will cause them to sell their holdings.. and from the way it looked.. MIT already chionged 20% on the 1st day of trading by opening at 1.15.. .. what if.. it cover back the gap from 0.93 to 1.15? lol would u throw if u see it fall to 1.0? lol |

big fishes (skarks) are many there, if some sharks like to short it to near 1.0, others will bite it UP, this counter has dividend meat, the high subscribe rate should not be fake

hopefully it will rise soon b4 my contra end date
i dont go for big earnings, just some pocket $ can liao... dont think thats too much to ask (nt greedy) |
