Hi Mr Mani

Other than the crude comments and ridiculous fake laughter, what sort of " constructive"  comments did Robert contribute, other than wasting bandwidth ?

In the stock market, all is nothing...

But only one thing matters... UP .... or Down...

As long as the person is right about this...

we must give him/her the due respect... Smiley

Genting for the short term doesn't looks good as on it was chased up from 93.5cts to 104cts in high volume before announcment of right issue. That means somebody had push up the price for the right issue to it make it attractive.

As the right issue is of so large volume, some investors would not be able to fund the proceeding once the rights' price is announce or even before the annoucement. The last done price of 94.5cts was reach as a result of those not willing to cough out the extra money to fund the proceedings.

The apportunity to buy cheaper will be base on the right issue price & how the public recieve it & of course still base on Ah lim & co. to support the price.DBS as the underwriter is also a substantial share holders will also support the share price as it will want to gain from the right issue. Therefore in days to come, the share price will be quite volitiate & we should buy into the weakness.Pls do decide yourself & act at your own risk.Happy trading & invest wisely.

Dear Robert,

I have read a number of your posts and found them interesting but pathetic.  You are dead against GIL for sure (but never provide constructive information) and I wonder why.  This is a forum for share traders and everyone has the right to take his/her position to buy or sell a stock.  If you want to preach something else, then you should go to the rightful place. You know what I mean since you are so smart...

Robert once again you skirted the simple qn: just up or down. What is read the finer point? It's like hindsight, you can thereafter explain it the way you wanted it. I asked that question to see what kind of answer you would come up with and to further test your personality. I half expected that 'no answer' answer. I was right.  Even if I'm wrong with the market direction, stock counter direction, I'm damn pretty sure about my reading on you as a person. Enough said.

PS: I don't see how I can lose if the Genting shares I hold now cost me less than 45c per share. Envious that you miss the boat?

Yap. U r correct to said so, very rite, but at this price still okk..for long term holders to go in to do some collect as most long term players has bot it at a very low price. Even at less then a dollars by averaging down, still at very low, low price, not this when price has gone from less then 45ct, now it price has double liao and one time hit $1.20c plus.

For me i will look at other low, low price stock to hold as i alway very much on the look out for stock that has a fair bit of potential,

Still remember when i took up the previous right issue @ US$0.13 (5 for every 2 shares held) years ago,  that was a big gamble and it was well paid off. to-date i'm still holding a big chunk of those and i don't intend to sell till the casino is up and running, as a matter of fact, i intend to increase my holding on this counter.

It will probably bounce up at 0.92...

that's when I buy...

but if it goes lower than 0.91, I simply dump it expeditiously without pride!... Smiley

If your profit horizon is in the year 2009, then you stand a good chance of a making a profit.

But no one can say a real market crash will not happen between now and 2009.

The possibility may be remote for many...
but will nevertheless stick in the minds of the wary.

In my view, "term investment" (TA-based) is much better than "long-term investment".

(iPunter is also a "term investor"... hehe...     Smiley

PS..

This is not to discourage people from playing the stock market...
but just a word of caution.

I believe Robert generally has a beneficial underlying message for those who play the stock market...

since 95% of players lose a lot of $$$...

simply because they keep coming back after losing or winning...
and then losing much in the end...

Taking heed of Robert's underlying message,
rather than desire to make money or 'take it back at the market',

is the way to go...     Smiley

Hi Mr Robert

May I know why u r so angry with Gent ?  Did u mis the boat when they were so much lower ?  It seems to me that your contributions to this thread is mostly crude laughter or sour grapes.....We would appreciate more contructive comments instead of " hahaha, clowns, jokers".
