If u notice there was a married deal at 1.5 also. Now is 1.52? So next time it is 1.54? BB are slowly pushing up the price range cuz they have tremendous faith in this stock? Hmmmm...... seems today shortists die quite jialat? They were selling at 1.46 - 1.49 in the morning. Now close at 1.52 they pay like mad liao rite?
17:05:05 hours. Last done $1.52 cts (X-married deal) 847 lot changed hand. should have some good news coming after CNY. If not why CNA some analyst mentioned tp px $1.70c
Another married deal at 1.52? It seem the BB is slowly pushing up the price day by day. In between they still have to contend with short sellers and contra players.
Seem fund managers job not so easy leh. I wonder they one month pay packet how much? :P

Heard over Radio 93.8 mhz news said Cityspring tp px $1.70c B4 CNY, due to strong buying support from....likely script is not enough to supply to investors. Strong support, now traded at $1.59c on vol of 69.3mil, B4 5pm px maybe little pushsy..$1.60 (1,5xx lot to clears).

U think, will Temasek be happy just at $1.50c., sure something along the way new spring water will come with this city state which is planning for 6.5m ppl, maybe in near future to come look very positive px of $2/- ++ or even $2/- is not double that of what is trading now compare to CRCT.(ipo $1.13c, now $3/-)

It always reminded me how Kepland and Capland were traded at $1.70 to $1.80 B4 and now $6/- to $7/-. Just make me wonder when they will announce like them, adding some interesting infarstur... like Epure (Sis of Hyflux) or Hyflux many on going project in China, India and in middle East. All this need $$$ and oni Temasek has it.
Does that mean Spring will buy shares into Hyflux which I believe is the main supplier of our New Water? :P
CitySpring is not springing for now, can C it is in accumulating mode, wait after CNY and let see how Temasek announce something or not to add news or new spring water to it Gas and water Trust. Some how i trust this Spring will spring more water for Temasek and it city.

I think px will eventually return to it support level about $1.57c and beyond. If one must buy, buy within one mean of holding. Termasek in cruise control, slowly and steadly upward is a sure bid. (hold-my personnal opinion only).
IT all about winning more $$$, very thing can be consider.
BBs (fund mgr) don bother what we talk, their eye is train to focus every second to hawk their train eye on the screen for their BB bosses.
For info, I am doing software development for mission critical system also and it is similar to stock exchange high performance demanding request on the IT system.
Very often business decision override technical decision for the simple reason company want to make monies. If it is making monies why implement some features that will cut off the wealth route correct? Companies will only introduce features to lure more monies and warrants is something variety offered. Soon SGX will have their own CFD trust me on that.
Conclusion: any idea that can make monies will get go ahead from top management :)

Can I just check, for example if I am using UOB KH portal, if I short a counter, this means that I sell it at a high price and buy it back at a lower price to have paper gains, but this counter will still in the portfolio and the gains are only on paper until the counter is sold, right?
Does POEMS or Kayhian allow such things on the portal?
i thk BBs are sidelined watching small talk going on here...dont think they bother with this counter *yawn*
FYI: Just today received letter, my sucessful ipo one lot from CDP office.
HaHa IC, U R into progamming.,any system, one just can't do a very regid system, like that all die. This is an opening trading system well tot over many years and proven very sucessful, more studies on how Dow work it system will help B4 any sudden changes throwing all sgx trading system go hay wire. In such case SGX will kena hamtam and get short.
Even you have the technical skillset SGX top management won't allow for the simple reason be it short or contra they still get to earn the commission. By implementing my proposed designs, funds may just withdraw from SGX and low volume is BAD business for SGX and brokerage firms.
So from business point of view, it will not be implemented not to say cannot be implemented.
UT is different as when it kick off it is already been set at that trading model. But in reality UT fund manager also use the monies come and punt in SGX and other country stock markets also lar :P

Don't encourage but IT system allows so shortist still runs rampant. If SGX could change their mission critical IT system such that an additional check is performed with the CDP to verify that seller has enough lots he intend to sell before allowing the request to queue up will terminate the short seller totally!
Likewise, if the IT system is changed to make sure no selling available for contra players until they PAID UP. By refusing to let the request queue up until monies is paid up will put a stop to contra players.
Hmmmm.... maybe one of these days I go apply as job as programmer at SGX hahahahah and then I wanna see how shortists and contra players die agonizingly :P
