why should it fall below $0.48 if that is already the offer price ? Doubt the consortium will ever get the 90% ownership requirement to delist and force the remaining 10% investor to accept the $0.48 cash offer.

Chairman /owner sold off 54.7% at 48c - that means change of top mgt coming soon. When the captain jump ship who is left to steer this ship. So scary!
no hurry....buy when < 55cts :)

DBS ballas call you usually when stocks run to mid level, can contrast trade only.
CIMB call you when technical study hair wire, need ppl to boost chart apperance.
DMG call you when they wants to beat the program, thus asking for rally/de-rally.
OCBC call you when analysts type an beautiful note, wants ppl attention.
philips call you when st index tanked, ppl " run road" and remisier no commisions liao
KE call you when all the market news turn positive.
mandatory offer at only 48 c.

Me mentioned in CWT counter as show below :I really don't know. Spore stock as predicted, after CNY, now still CNY already lao sei liao. Blame it on US jobless rate, blame it on oil price, blame it on pyramid crisis, blame it on muslim kill christian in Indonesia, blame it on food prices. Ha HA HA LOL, hell lot of excuses now give by analyst.
But one thing is for sure, whenever DBS gives their advice on any counter to buy, you must immediately sell and when they say sell, you buy, so far in Businesstimes stock advice by them, I reverse it and make some coffee $$.

Jaya: Cathay Asset Mgt, a Deutsche Bank unit, acquires on behalf of a consortium, the 54.7% stake in Jaya held by Nautical Offshore, for $0.48/sh, or $202.6m in total.
Deutsche will take a 20.6% stake, Linden Capital 19%, Orchard Capital 10.1%, Octavian Advisors 5.1%. The funds specialize in distressed assets/ special opportunities.
The acquisition will trigger a mandatory, unconditional offer at $0.48/sh, a 27% discount to Jaya’s last close at $0.66. The Offer Price translates to a valuation of 5x trailing P/E, 0.7x P/B. The Offeror does not intend to revise the Offer Price and has no intention of taking the co private even if it receives > 90% acceptances.
Existing sh/h should not accept the Offer, as they can realise a better price in the open mkt
The below comments is from others, yes same same, whenever DBS mention a buy call, just sell straight away, never look back. Even later is wrong, also never regret because, out of 10 time, at least 9 time is correct. When they mentioned sell call, straight away buy in. I make some coffee $$ using this reverse method. Luckily I didn't trust the MFT from DBSV.... I bought it at 0.715 and sold at 0.73 ....

Aiyeh, waiting for this day for a long time, but now is a wrong timing for minority share holder, and only advantages to the major share holder. The price so cheap to delisting, if I read correctly.
dropped quite a fair bit.

Have invested in Dec as I feel the stock is under valued at current price (P/E and P/Book). Hope you are right that soon there will be more traction on this counter. Interim dividends should help a bit on pushing up the price.
But in contention for "tortoise of the year" award
