Ah poh has gone bananas, just left for a while.. come back and its now at 30.5cts.. looks like the time has come 
Anyone knows why ah poh so heavily traded today?? First 5 mins of trade already more than 3,600 lots traded liao.
Actually ... i'm glad that it didn't cheong too fast too soon although i'm dreaming to see PTCL at at least 40 cents.
More chances to accumulate!

Centaur, not buying any more of this counter as still have a fairly large position here from previously. Bought in at 30-33c after unloading my cheap ones durng the "amazing cheong up in June". Should have waited but was hedging against another cheong past 40c then.
Happy to collect the another round of fat dividend last week and looking forward its next run to about 40-50 target once they clear more stale bulls along the way up to about 30-32c.
Right now, been loading up my new favourites Action Asia and 8telecom in the last few weeks. Very bullish on theses 2. 8telecom, a china play on 3G launch & showing good solid profit numbers as confirmation. At some point with institutional/high networth guys that bought 27m at 17c, a play will be on this counter. Chairman bought back shares 1.3m in August during the meltdown. shows bullishness.

yup, now the clearing is done at 27.5cts... hopefully we can see more clearing right up to 29cts for today
Did a quick check on the sell queue ... there's only 450 lots between current price and 30 cents. And even as i was typing this ... 199 lots of potato chips just got chomped up. The money is definitely flowing back into this counter. Hold on tight fellow kantang troopers!

To be honest...a little dissapointed that they did not develop the 39 units industrial units but choose to flip the land instead.
If there is superjumbo deal, announcement won't be so fast..... they have to re-accumulate the shares which will take a bit of time... probably all the way to 30c before some serious action begins so the ride up will be bumpy.

Did anyone hear rumour that Ah Poh has closed a "super" jumbo deal for the other half parcel of land and expecting an annoucement something "big" upcoming!!!!! we shall wait and see.. I think Ah Poh just waiting for right timing to announce..........

you guys are all right..... was waiting for ex-div & then paid out date ie Friday.....to see some buying activity today. Still in re-accumulation stage.
15m at price range of 24c-29c done since August 7th.........If count the 10 days before that where there was 4 large sell down days (market drops), another 11.2m (31c - 24.5c).
Some 83m traded from 26.5 to 35c in 30 market days when it cheonged so fairly large number of weeding off to do before it resume in cheong... and when it do, I expect 40c to be breached easily when it announced a major record FY year.
WOnder if PTCL still got any more S44 credits.
Tony, you don't have to wait for next 2 - 3 years.............. probably in next 2-3 wks or 2-3mths, you will certainly hear some solid annoucements from ah poh.......... wait and see, be patient !! Ah Poh will not disappoint it's supporters ! Start accumulating and put this counter on your radar screen! Ah Poh will be resuming her steady upward climb again......... cheers!
Actually i've been wondering/speculating what they directors would do with the proceeds from the land parcel sale. I suppose they could (i) repay existing debts with the proceeds (ii) combo of special dividends and/or rights/bonus issues.
If the company chooses to repay debt, rough calculation shows that NTA could rise to 23 - 24 cents i.e. we are just barely trading at a fraction above projected NTA! And if it's a combo of special divdends and/or rights/bonus we are in for a treat. As PTCL's core business numbers are looking strong we may be holding on to a winner for years to come. I'm bursting at the seams to read the upcoming 3Q report.
A part of me is also wondering if PTCL qualifies as a proxy China play ... with her increasing presence in the land of the dragons. This is in a similar vein to TiongWoon, prior to it's "discovery" as a proxy construction and oil and gas play. That said ... I better stop dreaming! But no way am I letting PTCL out of my grasp over the next 2 - 3 years.
Ah Poh still have some good news ahead awaiting for annoucement.... wait and see !! Ah Poh will not disappoint it's supporters !
aiya, tony.. good things must share share mah... Besides, with quality investors holding this counter (hopefully pp like u and me haahahaha), more likely can hold on than to sell cheaply to any BBs out there.. lets earn big together.
