You are right, stevento.

TA for this counter all point to a bullish trend.

Cheers

With the drop in electronics export to 3.8% in October,
the electronics sector may see a down turn affecting growth potential
and earnings for FY2007.

I wonder if Aztech will be affected by the turn of events.
But currently, it looks a good value with profits up 75% and revenue rising > 20%. Gross margin at 19%

A good buy and the prices seen moving up during the week.

The win is expected to contribute to the profitability for FY2006 to 2008.

STOCK ALERT - Singapore's MediaRing, Aztech higher on strong VoIP demand SINGAPORE (XFN-ASIA) - Internet telephony service provider MediaRing and maker of modems and telephones Aztech Systems were higher because they are expected to benefit from demand for voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) service, dealers said. In early trading, MediaRing was up 0.03 sgd or 8.33 pct at 0.39, on volume of 18.15 mln shares. Aztech was up 0.02 sgd or 7.02 pct at 0.305, with 6.97 mln shares traded. "We believe VoIP could emerge as a major investment theme this year, driven by the rising popularity of low cost but effective Internet telephony services," DBS Equity Research said in a note to clients. "VoIP telephony has registered sharp growth in recent years. One of the strongest leading indicators is the rising subscription for the popular Skype service. The subscriber base expanded from 41.0 mln in the first quarter of 2004 to 74.70 mln in the fourth quarter of 2005," DBS said. "We believe Aztech and MediaRing are well positioned to benefit from the migration towards Internet telephony service, which is cheaper and cost effective," it said. DBS rates MediaRing a "buy", with a fair value of 0.42 sgd per share. It also rates Aztech a "buy", with a fair value of 0.35 sgd. (1 usd = 1.61 sgd) singapore@xfn.com

Congrats DL20006! I think Aztech is on uptrend now. RSI and A/D line is moving up. I think the trend will continue for the next 2-3 days. From the Chaikin Oscillator, the trend could change pretty soon. you gotta be ready to pull out as soon as that happens.

Aztech is up because it's the start of a 4-day visit by analysts to their plant in Dongguan, China. More details below: http://www50.brinkster.com/shareportal/companies/events.asp They may issue positive reports.

Novocaine.. haha.. yeah. I'm a pure TA gal! I mainly use this step by step approach to find stocks to buy- (1) Using Accumulation/Distribution to look for divergences in price and the A/D line. (2) Once I find stocks in (1), I then look for double affirmation using RSI. If RSI is uptrending, its just confirms (1) (3) Once (1) & (2) are established, I will use Williams %R to determine if its too overbought to buy. Ideally, the stock should be oversold. So, once (1), (2) and (3) are all in place, I will buy the stock. That's my technique. So far, my accuracy is about 70-80%. I buy and sell the stock within a period of 2-4 weeks. Profit margin is about 15-20% overall.

Extracted from my blog http://kelongstocks.blogspot.com Do remember to support my blog, thanks :) Fundamental Analysis Aztech expects FY2006 performance to be better than FY2005 due to increasing sales and the impending introduction of new products with rich features. These new products will be introduced at the CeBIT 2006 Exhibition to be held in Hannover, Germany in March 2006. Aztech is also the number one player in wireless networking in Malaysia. Forecast revenue growth of 25% and net profit growth of 40% (due to the fact the net profit base is low as operating expenses will not increase as fast as operating profits). Trades at a relatively undemanding forecasted Price/NTA of 1.3x. Dividend yield is based on 20% of net profits (dividend policy) and estimated yieldis 2.7% for FY2006 based on current price. ................ continued at my blog

Extracted from my blog http://kelongstocks.blogspot.com Please remember to support my blog, thanks :) Prices broke out of a double-bottom formation on 15 Mar 2006, right bottom looks like a rounding bottom formation. Technical target from breakout is 28 cents. After consolidating for 2 days upon breakout (in which prices tested the resistance turned support of 22.5 cents), prices resumed uptrend and have held above the new support at 24 cents. A bearish hanging man formation on 21 Mar 2006 was formed after establishing a new high the previous session. ..........continued at my blog

I mostly try to avoid stocks which have too much hype attached to it. Its too prone to artificial fluctuations and this makes the risk so much higher for technical analysts like myself. Haha.. I didn't touch a single China stock.
