Rights issue the share price is adjusted down as the price for rights is lower, but currently the warrant have increase the company capital and the exercise price is much higher then current price, if really market are adjusting for the warrant issue it should go towards the exercise price and not down.

Bought some at 1.02 and noted the counter selling party is Citi. Why they bought the warrants for strike price of 1.50 and begin to sell stock at as low as 1.02, which think a bargain for me?

At the moment, we won't know exactly what is on Citi's mind, but I added another 10 lots @1.025.
The share price should trade at least $1.2 in order to sell the warranty at cost. I suspect they will push up the price by telling the " growing story" , maybe after the AGM has approved it in April. Citi is spending about 20 millions to get these warrants, I don't think it will let it expire. |

Hope they use the $ raised to expand the shipyards and not to use the $ to do more micro financing...

The more positive possibility is to use the warrants as a reference point to signal to the market and investors what the company feels is a more appropriate valuation of the share price. Having additional funds is just icing on the cake. Using this to pay dividends does not seem logical. There must be lots of discussion between YZJ and Citi reps on the number of warrants, expiry period and strike price - and everybody knows the traded price then ($1.10) and the knee jerk impact of the announcement. I see a long position (but can be wrong call).
Today price movement is not a good sign anyway...good luck.

will it drop below $1?
I have loaded up some at 1.03... I am a contrarian... I only know how to buy when stock drops and keep for it to go up... Maybe it is a falling knife....
Anyway I m convinced that China economy slide has came to a stall and heading for slight rebound this year...
Further studying and evaluating my beloved YZJ.
China stock loves to give surprises...trade with care :)
