heavy selling yesterday and today ?
This one also one of the laggard....
wow, star hub coming out with a free channel - Karaoke...
i hope u r right too.
Occam's razor, plus a lil bit of optimism doesn't hurt. besides, i already got this at a discount so i'm just hoping for higher gains. :) why be so gloomy all the time..
So u are already making the assumption the bid goes thru, PLUS it is done in a economically viable package for the telcos without hurting margins and goodwill to consumers. I think that is a simplistic way of looking at it. Of course, thats also saying that it has not been built into the share price yet, assuming the logic is correct.
Common sense. Starhub & Singtel gets World Cup telecast, consumers have to subscribe to SCV and mio to watch the telecast (some say it might be priced as high as $35 if we get it) = revenue for Starhub!
Why World Cup telecast announcement = price go up?
vested at 2.14 tis morning. Waiting for result in Feb...Hong Bao !!
I'm just waiting for World Cup telecast to be announced. Just a matter of when, not if. Confirm this bugger will go up.
so is singtel.
m1 actually hit 2.12 today and slid after tat.
tis burger doing opposite mkt
Singtel confirm will make a lost to pay this sky high price !! good luck to Singtel !
Extra income for StarHub.

screw FIFA! (i am not a football fan and dun intend to be one)
maybe when soccer no longer is popular to viewers FIFA will then THINK OF WAYS to increase viewership.
that time, telcos shd tell them to pay for airing their matches.
Good move for Starhub... save millions for shareholders!!
Don't be blackmailed by FIFA and try to please football fans - making Singapore a laughing stock and to the detriment of our dear shareholders. Singtel already made one big mistake by outbidding Starhub in the EPL - a stupid move. This is affecting the price of all Telcos for quite time to come.
