yah RSI pointing down. divergence formed. next week should be stormy week. the current bull trend is pretty strong as STI has been bouncing off the 14 days sma for 8 times. if trends is intact, should see a bounce off 14 days sma again. if it is broken, than expect big correction.

DJ MARKET TALK: S'pore Oct Mfg "A Warning Flag" -Economist

[Dow Jones] Singapore October industrial production data "a warning flag" but month-to-month data "remain volatile" so growth likely to remain on upward trajectory, says David Cohen of Action Economics.

Expects 10% manufacturing growth in 2006 should ease to "about" 6%-7% in 2007, supporting 2007 GDP growth near 5%, at center of government's 4%-6% target range.

Although growth trend appears intact, "people are wary" of slowing global demand, further data "bears watching," says Cohen. October industrial production
grew just 1.5% on-year vs Dow Jones poll forecast for 7.5% growth.   (JRJ)

I think STI may be on a slight downtrend now from its RSI chart. Will probably continue correcting next week slightly

STI closed at NEW record high of 2,830.02 today!

Yes, December will be a quiet slow month due to hoilday season, but I don't expect huge corrections like those in May's rally this time round.

I think it's timely to stay in position for the 'Capricorn Effect' in January - when BIG investors return from the hoilday. They will start snapping up stocks 1st week Janaury to position themselves.

Also, January is the quarterly reporting month! Due to Christmas season spendings, we can expect better results.

For retail investors like us, I feel it's better to hold on to our postion to ride the expected January uptrend. If we clear our position in December, will we be able to catch the waves in January when the BIG boys load up? All these my opinions only. Trade with care ya ....

STI is still strong and powering upwards.

However, December is coming and its going to be holiday season. I think next month will be a slow month.

One lesson I learned is that - if you're going on holiday, make sure you cash out all your stocks. You don't want to spoil your holiday thinking about them! :)

Good Morning Cashiertan,  would you mind to elaborate on your post please.  Are you saying that STI is too high for now or there are other reasons for you to move to the US counters.  Thank you.
