I am hopeful, but reality at moment, there seems to be a hammer at 4.48....

re our warrants, i think only the really chiong guys will buy at this point, they wait and see.. perhaps tomorrow, but in anycase it has gone up 25%, and can hit 0.035 with a long queue there.  however I am holding on I believe can touch 0.05 when parent goes to 4.6

Bought 10 lots only at 4.44 end Nov. Still holding. Not a bit worried.

Normally I monitor the prices of blue chips especially those Temasek own counters. When it is quite low (not lowest because nobody can predict lowest)), I buy some. Without fail, these counters always go up again.

NYMEX crude up on U.S. cold snap, Iran tensions 29 Jan 2007 08:29

SYDNEY, Jan 29 (Reuters) - U.S. crude futures nudged up on Monday and neared the $56-a-barrel mark, supported by a cold snap in the United States and buoyed by renewed political tensions in Iran and Nigeria.

* NYMEX crude for February delivery <CLc1> was up 39 cents at $55.81 a barrel in Globex electronic trading by 0024 GMT, extending Friday's 2 percent gain, led by cold weather in top consumer United States.

* Conflicting signals sent by Iran on its nuclear work heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, supporting prices. An Iranian parliamentarian said on Saturday the country had begun installing 3,000 new atomic centrifuges for uranium enrichment -- a process that can make atomic bombs, but the statement was refuted by an Iranian nuclear official. [ID:nL27923377]

* Worsening crime and militancy in oil-producing Nigeria have also bouyed oil prices. A Belgian man working for a building materials company was murdered in the oil city of Warri, Nigerian police said on Sunday.

A total of 38 foreign hostages are being held by different armed groups and three people were killed on Jan. 16 in a suspected armed robbery in another part of the Niger Delta.

* A senior Iranian oil official said on Saturday that the price of a barrel of Brent crude was expected to stay around $50 to $55 in 2007 with no return to the highs of 2006. [ID:nRON733656]

Not vested "yet".

But, who say buying stocks must be smart or do a lot of research on that counter? Just dump your money in SPC right now, who can deny that this stock can up to 5.00 level again .. just a matter of time, don't dream the oil price can keep dropping one la... that's "impossible".... Buying stock is as easy as A B C. Don't make it too complicated, cheers for those vested at 4.04 -4.20 level. You guys "dare" to enter at that level~ I respect!

dear Kilroy, sorry in this instance I have to disagree with you..  the so call "noise" about weather etc are not what people tell me but what I have researched from weather.com etc ... these are fact.. it is like we see that the glass is at half level, and you say it is half empty and I see it as half full...

no, sorry to disappoint you that I dont have any superior knowledge re SPC.. btw, how can I? except perhaps some insider knowledge which I certainly dont have. the fact is SPC is definitely undervalued.. it is to me a matter of time, which unfortunately I have put myself in a situation that I do not have...  but I am still hopeful...

sometimes our intuition or gut feel is really our subconcious rational thinking which cannot be properly expressed out in words.

Chinkiasu, not to worry. I am the one pressing the button at the end of the day. Also I tend to believe whatever news there is, its already or will be factored into the price of a stock. Those news about late cold winter etc etc etc, I typically take it with a pinch of salt. There are a lot of 'noise' out there.  Reason why I ask is because I believe everyone has an intuition in certain thing they are interested which cannot be explain.  Since you are into SPC, you may have an intuition about the stock price going up and I was curious in wanting to know. Thank god you didnt tell me more fundamental news which I already know.  Thanks for sharing. :)

many thanks... :-) ..  the cold artic air is also giving the US NE (read wall street)  a real chill in the weather...  I just heard (weather.com) Mt Washington (New Hampshire) had the coldest temp on record.. minus 38 deg F.. with winds at 100mph, the temp with wind chill factored is minus 80 deg F..
