i see the big price fluctuation, itchy hand will still want to do some short term trading. 2 motnhs ago, bought back some at $1.86 and sold them at about $2.00 just after 2 days. will continue to play this way while retaining some for long term

i sold a big chunk of my holdings after Q2 result, average only 1.50 - 1.60. decided to hold after Q3 result as i have faith long term it will be even better, but turned out to be different from what i expect. anyway, i will continue to hold this since this stock has been in my portfolio for more than 15 years liao

Base of RWS customers are
Singaporeans, Malaysians, Indonesians.
Hong Kongers would prefer to gamble in MACAU
because of the culture and dialect and travelling cost.
We don't see Hong Kongers at Genting Highlands too.
VIPs and junket groups are specially taken card of.

Based on both FA & TA, all Asia Markets are already at bOttOm.
This was repeated in yesterday evening's news.
That was why DOW recovered STRONGLY last night.
FEAR has Overtaken GREED
Thus, some Trading Syndicate may attempt to SHORT It dOwn fUrther.
nObOdy knOws, as there is nO way tO read the Syndicate's intention and timing.
hOwever, Syndicate also needs funds to SHORT.
It is nOt that easy tOO.
CHECK the vOlUme
hOw many shares [in % terms] were sOld at lOwer prIces ? ? ? ?
On the Other hand, GENTING tOO may sUddenly make a positive announcement.
For example:
- approval of JUNKET Licence
- new investment / expansion
- any innovative initiative
WHEN trading, trader plays against The MARKET PSYCHOLOGY which can CHANGE OVERNIGHT or even within 1 minute of a new announcement.
This Time the FEAR was created by the G20 Meeting OUtcOme.
Before the G20 Meeting, there was nO FEAR yet in the market.
It is very DANGEROUS to mix Short with Long.
Shorting must be based on a SHORT GAME PLAN.
Longing must be based on LONG GAME PLAN
both LONG and SHORT GAME PLANS are completely different.
The market plus the analysts are giving the signals that they are CONFIDENT of Q4 based on FA.
Note that TA can be manipulated and CHARTS can be FIXED by Syndicate.
TRADING is very easy at the start to middle [first half] of UPTREND.
Market is now at second half of UPTREND approaching the 3800 historical high.
Between 3300 and 3800 and 4000 [if recovery is successful ?]
there will be plenty of VOLATILITY.
This mOment is CLUELESS for the shOrt-term.

managed to sell some of my genting at $2.33, will put a Q at $2. have faith in this stock
hk is better because of all other factors like manila and sri lanka....
but genting sp in a stable country will also be a good bet...
both is good to keep.

I favour Genting HK over Genting SP
Even though they move together but Genting HK Upside potential is much higher and they "might" have some announcements soon.

Unfortunately possible SARS outbreak in HK may have great negative impact towards GentingSP. Trade carefully.....
