Please break 1.8 resistance

Unless you bought at $3.50 and did not average down else you should be contented although it did not rise as much as the other share.
But i always believe in this phase : Slow and Steady wins the race.
Don't ride a horse. Ride a cow is better. It will be less tired and slowly wins the race for you. Remember the turtle and rabbit story.
The price is still way off from its high of $3.50....

Blastoff - Your patience have paid off, now hitting 1.70 soon
No worry, i just finished listening the live webcast of SIA media briefing and a person did ask this qn, and from the answer Mr Chew gave, i'm quite assured as a SATS investor. I feel that this will give a chance for SATS to be fried upwards. will become a near $2 stock ba.
An analyst by the name of Coreen also ask about why give SATS not SIA Engg? Reason is since SATS is going into less aviation business and into food business, Mr Chew says he knows nuts about food other than to eat! Audiences laugh. He also did added he find it quite hard to have a reason why he give out sats than SIA Engg and reason he gave is that Engg business is more important to an airline business than Food Business.
After the distribution SATS will no longer be a subsidiary of SIA and SIA might do more outsouced like what they had done in london flight etc.
sia spoilt the party in the short term.
short term some sia shareholders getting sats is likely to sell on the open market.
long term improve liquidity may lead to it being included into index.
on business. got good got bad.
good. sats now has better chance of getting other airline business as it is no longer related to sia. plus got more free hand to do things.
bad. it may lost sia business after contract expire in 3years time or experience a margin squeeze. so got to be really competitive.
Seems like SATs is not taking SIA news very well.....

INCORPORATION OF SUBSIDIARY
Singapore Airport Terminal Services Limited (“SATS”) wishes to announce that it has on 11 May 2009 incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, SATS Investments Pte Ltd (“SIPL”) (Company Registration No. 200908257K). SIPL has an issued and paid up capital of S$2 and will be an investment holding company.
The transaction is not expected to have any material impact on SATS’ net tangible assets and consolidated earnings per share for the current financial year.
So putting all that cash to work pays off? Now it's fifty-fifty between airline services and food.
Your patience had paid off.... 6cents dividends declared with credible result during the bad periods.
Other than the poor attitude of clement and weak answering skills of the board, i would say the co. is good
Slowly creaping back up.... reaching $1.60 soon.
$1.50 cleared....
