Aiyoh, Ipco is another one taking ages to move even wth gd profits.....shld hv sold the other day at 0.036....now 0031 only yet dun know hv to wait how many mths to move up there liao....wat a heck.

Let me study a bit more about IPCO and Digiland. I was looking at A Sonics & JEP as I am currently in aviation industry. CE

Never say that they wont be in league with those guys making money from us. You know what I meant?

You might be right in a sense.. That is probably why there was the change of ownership covenant in the MTNs. So that the new owner need not be required to pay such inordinate interest rates and would be able to negotiate loans on better rates, especially since the issue of the remain 250 million notes are not mandatory, but merely a standby.

As for short selling, while I have nothing against short selling per se, (I actually believe they bring liquidity into the market), I am against the abuse of disclosure requirements. SGX, in its pathetic attempt to rein in naked short selling and increase transparency, only turned up the fog machine.

However, I also wonder why, with all that sell downs and such, who is attempting to push up the price and who is trying to force it into stagnation? We have been seeing this for ages, I doubt takeover negotiations take that long. If the attempt was to collect, the operator probably has over a 100% of HK's shares.

if its " someone" else, Han-whore will already hit 2 or 3 times its NAV and px will be hitting my 1st target. The games they play for fun or profit is unsettling for all shareholders and investors. Look at Blumont (formerly Adroit) , their Market cap is now $3.1 billion, PE is 111.9 times and price to nav is 29 times.

Han -whore? Geyland price. kanasai. for Shareholders and LT investors..this is really frustrating when we all know that company is in good industry, profiting and will grow exponentially. But the PX is the pits.

 

tks fren leeeta. i see gd potential in tis counter but just can't stand when px move 3/4 pips then will hv lots of shorts....tats the work of BBs.

In the last EGM, their CFO already said.." if it makes sense and can make good money for all, they will sell...but not at such levels" . For now, they are keen to expand and grow their capacities.So generating such volumes up and down with minimal px adjustment is really mind boggling.

How long do they want to hold px at such levels? who is the " they" ? and  for what? What is the game plan? Why tarnish the branding of Han-whore, a turn around company with this volume play? How will investors have and keep faith in the company if PX is not moving and no dividend given in the coming years? Investors are gonna compare Han-whore with UtdEnv and other pennies who are already 4 to 5 blocks ahead and they will give Han-whore a pass coz PX wise, it has no credibility even tho financials are getting pretty.  I got no answers here.

We have been sending email to voice our concern with all the unbelievable short sales volume and what we received are just standard official answers that they were investigating and will not disclose outcome for reasons of confidentiality and sensitivity. What a crap ! I feel that they may simply got no idea or not interested to rein in for fear of losing trading volume ! Let's hope someone like SIAS can make them sit up !

Polarbear, you echo my exact sentiment. There is more to plain short selling. Agree with you that they are either to generate volume or some major corporate shakeup on the card. That's why I continue to accumulate.
