The $63m payout is not in cash - I believe only the base fees are in cash, while the performance part(probably abt 50 over million) is in the form of new shares issued to the trustee mgr. There is a potential dilution in cash flow of abt 8-9 %, due to increase in number of shares, BUT the trustee mgr has re-affirmed that they will be able to pay 6 cents per share in total div for the whole yr, inspite of the new shares issued. FOr Business trust such as City Spring - it is the cash flow that matters more then the actual P/L earnings, due to the huge depn nature of infrastructure assets.

I find it very difficult to swallow the $63m payout....imagine what one can do with that sort of money....may be buy its own building, etc....

Let's go back to the basics: Cityspring is the first infrastructure business trust listed in Singapore.

Analyse the statement: you get loads of opportunities and potential

Hey Guys, another 'HONEST MISTAKE' by Temasek.

Will be interesting to see what action SGX will take on Temasek.

In all fairness, Temasek should compenate all unit holders for this fiasco....but don't hold your breath...doubt it will happen.

hmmm ... wonder if this stock will sink below $1 (hope nobody is offended). seriously, i think the management has a lot to answer to shareholders. simply quite shocking that they could have overlooked the performance fee.

Hey guys,

did you guys not see why such a huge loss was posted?  It was mainly due to the performance fee of S$63.4million paid to the trust's managers.

 I feel sick.

Nothing is so well plan one la especially with who is the behind all this ! Until to day when opposition (political sensitive) ask for so many years for them to disclose our country reserved and how they used our CPF to invest overseas and all this is unknown. But 1 think I heard we have to leave it to our grandchildren to see the rsults !!!

just wondering how come this unplanned charges were not planned before listing....only losses were planned. Let's see if profits are planned this time round....otherwise we have to lao sai for 6 cents distribution for a long time...

Agreed that it is a lousy excuse !  Immediately after listing, report loss.  I thought this can only happen to China stocks.  Backed by Government some more !!!  Congrats Knightrider, you have better foresight.....

Energy infrastructure investment won't go downhill so easily. This "profit loss" is alike to a gunshot scaring all away.

Those who are wise enough will take this as an opportunity to accumulate more.
