The fund buying this Trust is very aggressive. So many million lots snapped up in a few seconds. Now already 0.985. Always up a bit for this week. Wonder when the train will pull back?

FYI, if the US$ is weak, u end up losing money.
The broker will convert yr S$ to US$ when u buy.
On selling, yr broker will convert yr US$ to S$.

guys - 0.975 - 0.95 * 20000 = 500 us dollars... which is more than 600 bucks....essentially it means that all brokeage fees, admin fees plus forex differences, come up to more than 500 singapore dollars...
have to sell as i am on contra...
eh.. earning $99 is better than losing $99?

Can anyone educate me on what is this stabilization trade about?
By consoling myelf, i am taking that i am putting the amount of money in the bank, say for a month or 2, and i am going to earn interest within the 2 short months that other banks cant pap that kind of interest i am going to make from this amt of money.

Dont all these stocks, reits and trust have one thing in common to make money? Even blue chippers like those i mentioned fell and man they were humpde dumpdes. Everything is a gamble to me. And there is always a gambling side to it and earning side to them. It all depend on the person's personal risk taking appetitte and capabilities. Well thats my point of view. Mr Li has another 50 yrs lease hold on these ports and the heir is a capable guy. So i will buy this for my grandson cos the chinese gov and their family have a long standing relation. His heir's age is not too old.

If u buy any reit/trust at a lower px. the
yield will be better. More for good dividend yield
than FD.
