Get Dropping Down. Its even ever go below 20 cts. No news! No report! No one even want to talk about it!! THINK must have a huge losses and something serious behind the business. Anything to share and/or to correct my analysis? Thanks.

 

Got Volumn but move along the side way for quit a long time. Why?? Previouse (9Jan09) closed at $0.235. Very quiet.

 

Any chance for Ausgrp to move upwards    ? Cosco got profit warning can run.......this fella laggard for quite sometime allady.

 

Confirmation....Bearish as they losr a major contract, less contract appear to be attracted to them as less, even if can get it, it going is tough co's less profit to make, everything will be less.

Those day where buying / selling for more then a dollar w/o thinking is gone for next three to five year.

Notification of Suspended Project
SINGAPORE AND AUSTRALIA – 3 December 2008 – AusGroup Limited (“AGL” or
“AusGroup” or “the Group”), an energy and resources specialist, today announced the
project suspension for the fabrication of a twin cell car dumper and iron ore wagon.
The current uncertainty in the world financial markets has lead to reviews of capital
projects being undertaken by our customers, which in turn impacts on contracts that the
Group has either won or is currently tendering on.
The Group has been advised by a customer that the contract that was previously
announced to the SGX on 10 June 2008 to the value of AUD$21 million has been
suspended “for such time as our client decides”. AusGroup had completed 42% of the
contract to date.
“This will impact on AusGroup’s Q3 and Q4 2009 results, as the contract was expected
to be completed in the current financial year. The Group is putting contingency plans in
place to limit the impact of the suspended contract to the company”.

if u look closely, the UOB Kay Hian report was written by "SingaporeResearch Team".
the analyst, according to the grapevine, was not Marc Tan, who initiated coverage long time ago when the stock was still small. He has left the brokerage.

Marc understood AusGroup's business very well. I wouldnt be so confident about whoever the new analyst is who called a 'sell'.

It's easy to call a 'sell' when the general market is gloomy and the business has disappointed. It takes a smart analyst to judge if the results were just a temporary blip. It doesnt take much to see that the industry outlook is oh so great.

is the outlook gloomy, or is the stock being pushed down by shortists?
i read the analyst briefing report at www.nextinsight.com.sg & concluded that the fundamentals are there and it just takes the new MD to clean up the operations.
