friend, i also dont know any impact on company if any. But of course any company's spokesperson will ally fear and say its minimal or no impact. One thing i know is the authorities takes time to dig or investigate if they wish, for eg, take the case involving the CNB & Civil Defence guys. A police investigation may take 2 to 3 years to close case too.
But i think its going to reward you richly if you are high risk taker as i predict the share price to hit 0.45 cts in a years' time. cheers
but the CAD investigation focus on the period from July 1, 2008 to March 31,2009. I don't think any major impact on the company right? again tat's my view only.
49 INVESTIGATION BY THE COMMERCIAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT
In April 2012, the company announced that it has been informed by Mr. Bertie Cheng Shao
Shiong, the Independent Director and Non-Executive Chairman of the company, and Mr. Phua
Chian Kin, the Group Executive and Managing Director, that they are the subject of
investigation by the Commercial Affairs Department (“CAD”) on possible contravention of
market rigging provisions in the Securities and Futures Act (Chapter 289). Mr. Cheng and Mr.
Phua have indicated that they will cooperate fully with the CAD in its investigation, and are
providing CAD with access to the relevant records for the period from July 1, 2008 to March 31,
2009.
The Board of Directors of the company are of the opinion that the involvement of Mr. Cheng
and Mr. Phua in the day to day matters of the group and the company is minimal. The group
and the company are run by a team of capable senior and middle managers, many of whom
have spent more than a decade building up the group and the company. The group and the
company continue to operate at an optimal level. Hence, the Board of Directors confirm that in
their opinion, the CAD investigation would not have any impact on the group and the company.
no problem friend,
honestly i observed this counter for a month, i wanted to get for its high dividend yield.
but on researching, found that the CAD probe its not over just that no sound no news or further updates. If you read analysts' reports, they dont mention this.
Im not saying it will, but it just may. Honestly i like this counter and the mgmt style, investors ' oriented and regional expansion plans.

the books is healthy, vol low compared to others so can easily manipulate. Gd dividend and also mgmt plan to expand abroad market etc.
Concern will be the " hanging" case of the 2 directors being probed by CAD (still no news does not mean no impact later) and also its a family biz, linkages.
I rather go for decent companies like Wee Hur, Lian Beng etc. No offence, just sharing my thoughts so prospective investors will know more insights about Tee.
As I mentioned in my earlier posts. The dividend yield is attracting interest and the stock was close to its 52 week low.
Sure can make money here, though it has gone up a bit fast. Cheers.
