While information is always distinctively late and trading always coming in fast and ferocious at the fore. (This one is ahead - one day early). Forming very own decision wisely is as difficult as finding a pin in the ocean. (To each it own, hope U chose d right choice...Happy trading..Ya.)

teeth53 - just giving my personnal opinion, as there r as many others may have alot to differentiate it as well.

You can rope in nickyng to join you in shorting. All the recent IPOs have got off to a decent start, but most have retreated back to IPO price or even went under. Nordic is a classic case, went up to 32cents, now crash landed to 20cents IPO price.

You snobbishly attack people 1st with your arrogant irresponsible remark 'You are not ready yet'. & now you shamelessly said u dont attack others?!

You can't just threw the 1st punch & u expect others to dont get annoyed & don't retaliate..

You are just an arrogant young punk!

Excuse me, I'm dead wrong about what? Anyway I'm not going into a war of words with you. I'm not rich, not very experienced, but at least I don't give my views irresponsibly and I throw caution to every post I make. Attacking people with words like "snobbish" and "arrogant" is not exactly humble.

Enough said, my last post here.

you are dead wrong.

See u still wan to twist & deny now. Your that remark' you are not ready', implying not ready to apply or invest in shares yet  is extremely rude.

See yr snobbish, arrogant attitude u simply based on 1 post people ask on this ipo, u called the other party is 'NOT READY YET'.

Who are u to pass judgement?

There are so many older people in stock forums including me  with more money & experience than you a 24-yr-old.

u go see SI forums, all those rich , experienced forumners that when come ipo time , they always also post to ask Palawan hwo's yr commmenst on this etc. But the other fourmners there will never be so arrogant such as u to post in their thread 'do yr own homework, YOU ARE NOT READY'

.

I said "do your own homework", because ultimately an investing decision is made by your own call. I must stress that forumers should not mislead or rely on each others' opinions. Always make the final decision yourself. Thus, i added the "do your own homework" comment, because never rely on others' opinions for investment decisions.

And I never assume your portfolio is not diversified. If you ask me putting money in FD or normal savings account, which is better in a ultra low interest rate environment, my advice is normal savings account, because it is more liquid (you mention yourself it is troublesome) to activate such funds if needed to tap on opportunities. I did not criticise, I was giving an advice.

I was never attacking or criticising you. I even gave you my take on this IPO, when no one replied to you. I think forumers must be responsible when making comments, hence i always stress to do your own research and not rely on others.

You are still mistaken.

Also you are rude to keep assuming people who post to ask for other's opinion must be they never do their own homework. Especially yr that remark 'you are not ready' is extremely rude.

u should STOP posting tat do yr own homework comment whenever u see others post a query in a humble manner. I think maybe becos u are only 24 yrs-old(yr nick wrote 86, born in 86?)  hence you have different attitude from we more humble middle-aged pple. Then if cannot seek others views , might as well close down all stock forums.

Inwardly I oredi  know this ipo won't sink. I just wan to gather majority views on whether is this ipo birdnest or just chicken rice debut(in both cases it's still got profit)

The real reason I post here to ask opinion is becos since 2008 I no longer have access to SI forum, there got 1 forumner by e name of Pahlawan he always gives ratings of birdnest, sharksfin, chicken rice or char siew pau to rate ipos for e past 5 yrs, hence I was just hopping if he could pop in here to post his ratings. In SI forum 10 out of 10 seasoned forumners always seek his veiws on ipos, don't tell me all the seasoned forumners never do their own homework meh?

Finally , u again wrongly presume things again when u havent got the whole picture. My portfolio is diversified(I like it this way, also last time my FA also say better diversify), I now have about $21k-22k in stocks, $50ishK in unit trust which will mature in dec 2010(hence this 50ishK will be liquid then & the remaining 60K in FD , 99% of late 30s to 50s people like to diversify their portfoilio & always put a certain portion in FD(FD is also quite liquid & can withdraw anytime too), u don't critisize others for putting a certain portion in FD.

I would also advise: don't put your money in FD. It's not worth the effort if you need the money, like in the case now. For that paltry interest you have to go down and take out the money, might as well just keep it liquid and save all the hassle when opportunity strikes. Happy trading.

if anyone knows how well it will do, we would all be millionaires!

Do your own homework and make your own call. If you ask me, it is likely to open higher on debut day because of high demand from islamic funds, this being the first shariyah compliant reit.

you are wrong.

It's not I'm worried. It's just that only last week I put a FD deposit for $60K for 1 year, so if this saban ipo is VERY VERY high chance to open abv its ipo price then I'LL go withraw this out 1st becos lose 1 week interest no big deal. The profit earned from stagging it will far exceed the lost interest for 1 wk anyway. But if this ipo is flattish to below water type like that oxley then I do not wan to go waste my time to withdraw e FD. Becos I very busy in my work this 2 weeks.

My the other $21,000 is oredi suck into 2 blue chips, synear & REC that I fully-paid up for MID to long-term, do not intend to sell them to encash now.

No one can give you a clear answer. but if you are asking for opinions, this sabana reit is worth buying, there should be some profit to be taken on the debut. Do your own homework.

If you are so worried about this IPO, that's why you are asking for views on this IPO, i suggest you don't invest. you are not ready.
