Ya... I know their gross profit is so good that they even dare to keep building like mad.
But their net profit will be hit very hard by the cooling measures and the increase in foreign worker levy.
Most of the time euphoria will come to a catastrophic end.
The same as the shipping boom a few years ago...
The eventual winners are those who are willing to wait until the end of the boom.

Rich singaporeans make up about 80% of private property buyer. The latest cooling measure is targeting them as well, so property developers have to give good discounts otherwise it will hurt their sales. By giving discount, their profit margin will decrease and there will be price competition between developers...

PE ratio is still very depressed for this counter (compare historically, or presently if benchmark against Cosco) . Dividend has been consistent and management seems to be very proactive in managing profit and future business stream.
In long term, probably have chance to increase multi-folds. |
