Teeth thot: Likely to stay on steady course slightly above water, throught there is some selling pressure, some thing like Tiger Air 15%-25% profit. over short term. Mid term may hit it TP.

So u see the GIC involved investment on Cosco story ? At 1st says that they did not declare when falls below 5% SSH category. Then market panic, and Cosco down, and last week they buy back to maintain the 5% and today Cosco shoot up like rocket. So GIC involve in this IPO, should be ok, I think, hope I am right. Good Lcuk.

I think Tiger (SIN) was profitable; Tiger (AUS) loss. Overall can't rem if slight loss or profit. Trouble w airlines is its volatility n tight cost structure. Still w econ on uptrend, pple are travelling so propects look ok lah.

Moreover, some big investors subscribe the shares at $1.20. It's worth to stag.

tiger backed by temasek, making loss, ipo debut till now up more than 30cents, not bad.

minzhong backed by gic, making money, ipo debut must be better than tiger rite.

my point is, analysts will all have good words for these burgers because they dare not offend big bros who give them

businesses and future recommendations mah. so whether make money  or not, never mind, must say good things haha

The difference between Tiger and Minzhong is Minzhong is a profitable company whereas Tiger is a loss making company.

it's very hard to venture how ipo stocks will perform initially where big spore govt invt entities are involved in it. this is because with big bros like gic or temasek with big stakes in it, analysts often dont want to offend them so will usually give favourable coverage to such ipos.

look at recent example tiger airways which is temasek controlled. despite majority of participants knowing its crazy valuation, so far you dont see a single analyst giving a valuation lower than its ipo. everyone wants to be in temasek's good book. need more business and future recommendations from big bro.

so for minzhong, guess they will tell you it is very good also lor. cannot offend gic mah. so may be minzhong another tiger airways liao. you decide.
