Yeah, expect more downside. This has been a year which investors in Cosco will wish to forget. Not only were there poor execution of contracts but this had also led to provisions of close to $40+ mn made for delays and costs over-runs in the last Q. Management had explained that this is their learning curve but it seems that it is rather steep considering that Cosco has Sembmarine as their substantial shareholder. Why is expertise of SM not tapped or if SM is not stepping up to help, could it be assumed that these are omninous signs that the JV is not working out as planned.

Cosco Corp (COS SP, $0.875, SELL, TP $0.72) – Cosco has undergone some routine management changes, with a new president and executive director installed due to its group-wide rotation policy. We see no positive or negative implications from the new appointment. The focus remains Cosco’s muted prospects and the negative sentiment towards the stock. We are cutting our target price to $0.72 on our lowered SOTP valuation, given the weak market outlook. Reiterate SELL. rohan@kimeng.com

COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited wishes to announce that COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of the Company's 51% owned COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd, has delivered a bulk carrier of 57000DWT, " COMMON VENTURE" , to its European buyer. The delivery documents were signed by and between COSCO Dalian and the buyer on 22 November 2011. The bulk carrier measures 189.99 meters in length of all, 32.26 meters in breadth and 18 meters in depth...

DELIVERY OF VESSEL
The Board of Directors of COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited (the
" Company" ) wishes to announce that COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd
(" COSCO Dalian" ), a subsidiary of the Company's 51% owned COSCO Shipyard
Group Co., Ltd, has delivered a bulk carrier of 80000DWT, " GUJARAT" , to its
Asian buyer.
The delivery documents were signed by and between COSCO Dalian and the
buyer on 10 November 2011.
The bulk carrier measures 229 meters in LOA (length of all), 32.26 meters in
breadth and 20.25 meters in depth.
