Temasek will by all way prevent this from happening. IF not , the underwritter and Temasek will have to buy the rights and in the end , they are not raising funds at all. In due time , there might be "interesting" news to spike up the price soon .
There will be people subscribing the excess rights if you give up your option to subscribe. like what I mention there are many investors who are very willing to bring the price of NOL so to make it worth less than the rights price and eventually nullify the entitlement of getting NOL at $1.3.
next week will be a better week. STI should rebound at 2200.

I realise there are people purposely sell down NOL price at the very last minute. To counter these people, we will buy them at 1.46 in large amount and sell it at 1.49 the next day... NOL has been stagnant at 1.49 to 1.51.. haha then shortist want to bring them the price ...

OCBC ATM navigation guide from newspaper. follow the step, it will be OK
1. Insert OCBC ATM card
2. Enter PIN
3. Select "Other Services"
4. Select "Shares"
5. Select "Rights Appln"
6. Select "NOL R"
end of guide , some more notes from my experience and reading from others : DO NOT KEY IN NUMBER OF LOTS!!!
7. when asked by ATM how many entitled: you need to key in exact number of Rights Units you wish to apply ( in your case, key in 750), then enter
8. when asked by ATM how many EXCESS RIGHTS you want to apply: Key in the quantity you wish to apply ( in your case, key in 250 or 1250), then enter
9, just check to ensure the amount of transaction is equal to $ 1.30 * ( 750+250, or 750+1250) or $1300 / $2600. this will help you counter check in case any key in error, then enter.
Make sure ATM account had sufficient fund for the transaction of this amount.
10. collect the receipt as 'proof' of transaction.

You can tell me which Bank 's ATM? last time CapitaComm Trust provide full page in newspaper on the navigation guide, use that it will be fine. I still keep that page for reference

Think everywhere , almost every company are in the red. STI index already drop about 60% of once 3800. All the listed companies may also then be considered as worthless and cannot sustain? NOL is big enough to withstand this crisis. According to my close friend who works for temasek holding , Chartered has even more serious problem than NOL and yet got bailed already.
I think risk is always there when comes to big money earned and big money lost.

Emm the analyst TP is quite near to RIGHT value also:
Neptune Orient Lines (NOL SP), Southeast Asia’s biggest container carrier, lost 3.1% to $1.47. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. reduced its share-price target to $1.35 from $1.50 and maintained a “neutral” rating.
Actually the Right price abit too high. We may get the RIGHT share value from Market if STI continues to fall.
