The only S Chips I would purchase are those which meets any one of the b/m criteria -
a) The largest shareholder or the holding company must be a PRC SOE
b) The company's executive director (and the CFO) must be local.
As for (a), I believe only Cosco and China Merchants Pacific meets it.
I expect something bad to come out from ChinaMilk. Anyway good luck guys.
I have kind of lost faint in china company S Chip counter. Yanlord/Cosco will probably be the only china firms that i can trust now .
My broker called me this morning and i did mentioned to him about this ChinaMilk halt issue . What happen here is that his security company is one of the twenty shareholders for this milk company and i ask him whether his company got any latest insider information about this milk company. What he told me is that there is no news in regarding what has happen and what he told me that this is probably going to be a bad news.

I was looking at it some time back before the resurfaced of the recent tainted milk issue with the intention to invest on it. Thanks God I didn't buy any.
Hope that it can resume trading fast otherwise I am worried that if it halted too long, it may be suspended like Sino-Env.
I will look at it again once it has resumed.

The problem are fears that the cash is inflated. Or else they wouldn't have problems paying up their debts. Lets wait and see what the Management says. Not vested. Was an investor for a month 7 months ago LOL.
I also wan to know why kana halt for so many days. From the balance sheet shown the financal look quite good lei. If you buy $0.24-$0.26 you should not to be worry much.

You can't buy and you can't sell. I expect an announcement to be made tonight or tmr morning. Hopefully nothing rotten.

Suspended will not get back de money but u will still holding the shares.
But if it get delisted then u will get back your money depending on the company. Whether the company have enough money to repay the shareholder.
just wan to check..if kanna suspended..for those who is holding how?? wont get back any $$

Can only halt for a maximum of 3 days (72 hours) before it is suspended. The company must make an announcement by 8am tmr or else it will be suspended.
How long are they allowed to "halt" until?
yup lucky me, now waiting for good news to buy again, if bad news wait for it to drop further then buy, this company looks good, last year TP was 0.60 if i remember correctly, now with all the milk scandal is being shot down... poorthing they name themselves China Milk when their main business is semens & embryo..., should change name...
then u are the few lucky ones....
