do you think there will be further upside from now? a 36% gain today doesn't seem to justify the significance of the breakthrough...

It has rec'd order of 27 BME Machines valued over US$14 million, this amount is already double of last financial year revenue. This is a beginning of the turn around for this company, congrats to all still holding it.

Come to think of it, JMS is correct lor, only thing boh boey.

Hahaha.   Just to drum up some interest in the Singapore stock market.   Just doing a duty so the economy won't die.   Few people care, so we put in a little effort.   Just joking, wahahaha!!
But seriously, Transcu Biomass technology is great.   Now proven successful in cleaning radiation contamination and generate useful energy is going to prosper big time for the company.   I invested some lots.   Hehehe!

wondering how the news can help to increase the price
SINGAPORE – 16 May 2013 – Mainboard-listed Transcu Group Limited today
announced that the Group’s revolutionary new process which cleans up nuclear
contamination while at the same time generating renewable energy has been
validated by trials at the village of Iidate near the Fukushima nuclear plant.

Speaking on the success of the trials, Transcu Group CEO Lawrence Komo
said: “This is a huge breakthrough, not only for our company and its
shareholders, but for all countries relying on nuclear electricity generation for
their industries and citizens.”
“I believe this is a game-changing innovation that will dramatically change the
way the world approaches the clean-up of future nuclear accidents and spills.”
Trading halt tomorrow morning due to Pending annoucement.
Yeah ! Veteran Bopanha is pretty accurate in his assessment.
In the recent announcement " COLLABORATION AND OPTION AGREEMENT" the likely payout for the licence fee   is at $0.05 and I believe it will ..... the current development is paving way for the release of some breakthroughs and will set the key milestones for the BBs.
Absolutely, Veteran Tomique, this BBs has the potential to be another BYD Company .....
I believe in Veteran Bopanha. There is every chance for Transcu to secure more orders and move up fast.
This is going to be another BYD Company, listed in HK.

Veteran Bopanha said " Before June comes, I believe the company could clinch more orders for their Biomass Plant."

AS JAPAN struggles with cleaning radiation contamination at Fukushima Prefecture following its nuclear accident two years ago, Singapore-listed life-sciences company Transcu has tied up with two leading Japanese companies to help remove radioactive waste. Transcu subsidiary, Biomass Energy Corporation (“BME”), recently signed agreements in Japan with the following companies to provide solutions for cleaning up cesium, an extremely toxic radioactive element with a half-life of 30 years:
Transcu CEO Lawrence Komo expressed his excitement over the company’s breakthrough in providing a viable solution to the radiation problem during a telephone interview with NextInsight last week.
In October 2011, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda said the government will spend at least 1 trillion yen ($13 billion) to  clean up vast areas contaminated by radiation.
Thanks buddy. Keep on listening, music is coming .... the report card is near.
Agreed with Veteran " don't have to watch everyday on this counter, just treat it  like putting a 1 year FD, return should  be better than the  FD rate at this level."
Hi JMS,
Do you have anything to say ???
