There is no law that says counters will not go below IPO price either.

YZJ did go as low as 25cts in '08.

So anything is possible. Don't be fooled thinking STX is any different when push comes to shove.

Trade with caution.

STX OSV Holdings (SOH SP, MS7) – BUY at support

Last price: S$0.94

Resistance: S$1.03

Support: S$0.77-0.80

For long investors who are still bullish on this stock, we think this stock maybe a technical BUY at the support level of S$0.77-0.80. In our retail note on 29 September, we have a technical SELL with target price of S$0.93 and an intraday low of S$0.935 was achieved on 30 September. Alternatively, investors (who bought at support) may consider exiting their longs if prices trade below between 2-5% of their entry prices, depending on individual risk appetite.

I am interested to get another CFD account.

Does anyone have good experience with using CFD account other than Philips?

Philips CFD online trading platform seems to be stalling during days where there are major sell-off recently.

You can borrow the share from sgx at some fees and sell it....

Not sure poems cfd can sell stx osv or not...but do check it out....

These are the best 2 ways to short a counter for longer term without having to buy back on same day....

stx osv still got a lot of meat....it defy gravity last time becasue of the 5 cents dividend....

On Friday, STX OSV broke the minor support at $0.995 and closed at $0.94 with HIGH volume of 20.6 million shares traded.

Three black candles occurred in the last three days. Although these candles were not big enough to create three black crows, the steady downward pattern is bearish.

Both RSI & MACD are bearish as RSI trend downwards.

Important Resistance of STX OSV: $0.995

Immediate Support of STX OSV: $0.85

Currently prices are well below 20/50/100/200 days MA.

When many ppl are on the same  mindsets that the mkt is going down you may be in for a surprise when the BBs start to reverse this by uploading and pushing it higher...

Things are not as bad as what it seems to be. US economy is not in recession but ppl are already factoring that into the shares prices.

Europe debts issue is not new.  I think they will get the next batch of loan approved.Europe can afford to let them go default at this moment.

This week US job data and 3Qtr reporting may give a clearer indication going forward..

Sometime not doing anything is actually doing something.

It all depends what is your investiment timing/horizons?

Longer term it will be ok. This company is doing well. Yield about 3-4%. PE  is rather low. If you have holding power then you may decide. You hv to make  yr own judgement call

Yes you are right...

New stock players usually do not know

what to do and need some hand-holding.

But then you should also appreciate that

stocks are not like bowling, for instance,

which is an exact art. Stocks is all betting,

and no one knows the next move... what

if you urge sell and then prices surge the

next day? The same applies to urging

people to " buy on dips" ... Smiley
