The IPO valuation tend to be rich.  I initially look forward to it because of Li.

Never buy the IPO, too rich, quite a few big issue to solve (land lease).

This counter, I thought initially sure to have good support b'cos of the Li Ka Chng but as the days go by since IPO, it struggled to move up and in fact it kept going down. At one time it even hit below 90c. I cut loss and losing few hundreds $ and phew on this counter and moved on to other counters

May be can try Sabana reit it has already delcared dividend for 1 qtr of 3.04 cents. Projected DPu of 9%+ which is so much better than HPH trust. Sabana has the potential of going up from here. It's IPO price is $1.05 which is more that 10% cheaper now to buy. Also it doesn't subject to currency exchange ..

It at its discounted IPO price,  I bought some for mid-term.  Hope it can deliver reasonable dividend yield too.

do ur analysis and trust urself

bad betting = cut or hold for mid-long term (only for  more established stocks - not s-chips)

good betting = take profit

simple as tat :)

Certainly this counter worth a look, especially when the price is lower than ipo  price  & current US dollar exchange rate  at very low level. Any upside is a plus for the forex gain & capital gain.... Vested.

Hammer spotted at HPH Trust's low point. This counter is currently oversold. HPH Trust has a good chance to rebound from here.

Ha ha, unfortunately, I was given 34 lots during IPO. But I had cleared all of them in badges, even as low as 0.90, lately. As opined that not much perks return on marine biz, at ds juncture.

You may consider Sabana Reit or Cambridge Ind Reit they offers about 9% dividends...

They are in SGD instead of USD for HPH..

Looks like is on free fall since its listing on sgx.  Not sure GE result would help its stock price on Monday.  Anyway, the devidend yield looks attractive and may be a good time to collect some units now.

I bought some units last week and intend to hold it for some time. Not for capital gain but hope this share can deliver good dividend yield ~ 5.8%.

Thought from other

The  IPO shares were placed out at US $ 1.01. They bought back at average of US $ 0.98. Profit - 3 cents per share. On top on that, the bank earns a placement fee.

Money already collected when IPO is completed. This money is used for the stabilisation purchases.

If the shares trade above the IPO price, the bank just exercise the over-allotment option.

Either way, the bank makes.
