Hi all...me  not a newbie... frequented another forum looking for guidance here and there...even there, people who know TA and so on got flamed endlessly...though I myself simply can't understand why people need to behave in such a manner for I strongly feel we need people with charting knowledge to at least interprete for us  who are ignorant of such things...what can be a likely scenario for a particular stock given its behaviour over  time.... this knowledge can help us a great deal...But again...the decision to invest or not remains with us...we read, we anlayse , we do our own homework...and if we like and feel comfortable about a stock backed by pointers given by chartists and so forth... well...then we can make more informed decisons.... see...in life... nothing is for sure.... except for death ( as my Statistics  lecturer put it) we have to our own due diligence...but we still need TA people to help us in our decision making.

Recently...one who knew TA was telling me that Midas was performing beautifully on the charts and the buying signals were all there...that was when the price was at about 74 cents...today the price is at 80 cents? well...see the chart was right.... another one was Mercator.... he said according to the charts...at 41 a few weeks ago...( incidentally i had bot at 41 without consulting anyone who knew the charts)...the sell signals had arrived...and true enuff...it fell from that to about 33 cents today?I got burnt badly.... now i ask... just to be safe...so far ...ok...m happy.

So please,give the TA experts  a break  and show some appreciation... I am writing this so that such people will not suddenly disappear for all the flames...but continue to assist others like me who simply cannot understand the charts....

Well of cos i also dont blame newtothis for posting the insider news part that has partially caused me fear and then throw the counter out at 0.125. Becos the VERY next 3days it shot back to 0.175. I could have saved that $1500! Well... Therefore, the FAULT lies with me!!! i am green and i dont have a trading plan! I should have proper risk management and have a personal cut-loss point! The trader should take full responsibility, no one to blame..... In fact, i really thank richtan for so willing to share and help pple like me, who wants to learn. He is not paid for all this analysis, and yet he is sharing his knowledge to help!  I want to learn TA too! though i know they are NOT 100% guaranteed. but it may be a trader's best friend to the least??   Not taking sides, and i know everyone is entitled to their own opinions. But hopefully they are constructive, and NOT destructive. If anyone doesnt like richtan's TA analysis, maybe can just kindly stay out of his posts?  Don't need to stir up unnecessary conflicts? I remember some time back, when I used to hang around the OCBC trading room, a certain young woman who also frequents that place, used to casually mention that she made $10k or & 15k from her dabblings and investments.

But after a while, she disappeared from the scene, never to show her face ever since...

Making losses is part n parcel of trading, whoever tells u he dun make a single loss is bullshitiing to u, keep a ten-foot pole distance away from him.

As to cut-loss point, it all depends on individual threshold of pain, blah...blah...blah... search my post on this.

Do remember the 3 golden mantras n all my sincere genuine advices to newbies as it will stand u in good stead in your trading ventures.

U are right to say tat I did it without being paid n the reason is I did it out of my burning passion to help newbies as I dun wish to see them going the same miserable paths tat I had walked when I started out in the trading world, listening to the same type of rumours, unsubstantiated one-liners, wild garang calls telling me tat "it will reach xx price" even b4 the mkt closes, "I will push it up to xx price", acted based on forumers emotional postings (all this I later then realised are deceptive ploys to make me their guinea pigs) till I cant stomach any more losses tat awaken my folly n my eventual decision to learn the ropes of the trade, thus TA , as I realised tat there is no short-cut to earning my keeps n these evil people wont pay me for my losses.

It is a waste of time "talking" to him/her, it is like talking to a irrational cow,tats why I try my best to stop replying to him.

As I said b4 "Ngow Tau ng yam sui, tim cheok ngow tau thai", literally means  "If a cow refuses to drink water, u can't force it to drink", he/her will reply with all sorts of distorted, illogical view n twisted replies, really "tak boleh tahan".

Tas why from now onwards, in my chart posting, I pleaded with them      plse...plse...plse  not to peep at something tat they dun like to see but stiil, he/she had the strong urge to peep at me n then start posting distorted comments about my size n length.

i start trading many yrs back, with any references base on hear said, make some  loss many. than learn  basic FA reading. make some loss some . but no proper direction. but lately after going tru the TA posting found there is direction n trend in trading especially with richtan n fellow TA forumer charting anaylse. i m more confidence i make more n loss less. Based on Pilotfish info, the support is at 0.14 & 0.125. Emm interesting.

Emm too bad this one not my main counter, will not vest much on here.

But as i say, this company FA is good. Should not be a problem fr it to

go back up.

So investor should not worry much...........

bro.. TA serves as a guide.. for me, it guides the price in which i'm willing to pay for a share based my on FA..

TA peps (of course it includes richtan) help TA noobs like me by posting their charts up..

Also, the charts they post help those who are learning TA to confirm their own TA analysis..
