Haiz, UOB did not announce retrenchment. Singtel and SIA oso did not announce retrenchment.
Only OCBC cannot break even, everything else is big profit.
come on..the ONLY news that will inspire this burger is when it announce any RETRENCHMENT! that will be music to shareholders :P *joking* hee
OCBC really vomit blood, I bought it at $5.20 on Oct 29 when STI is 1600, now still cannot break even.
I don't think there is any stock price today lower than Oct 29 except OCBC.
DBS closed at 11.00, Sell. Preclosed it jacked up 10 cts to 11.10. Likewise UOB.
AK chow with 11.00, 3 mins before closing, No kopi $ today, covered by yest UOB.
Dun play play, 30 sec rule can't use it on nake short counter, high risk. Ie system jammed etc.

DBS going 2 announce result 2morrow. Now,still very stubborn, high block at 10.98, 20 bids lower than yesterday price.
Owing to it only gained 2 cts yesterday n its record card will not be better than both OCBC n UOB announced lately.
Just short a lot for testing, see got kopi $. Today, dare not tech naked short SPC. He he.
I thk this counter will stay range bound between $4.50 to $5.50 for the next 6 months.
Any comment for the earning result & direction for this counter...?

OCBC RESULT OUT OLEDI...?
It will announce its report book today. hope by noon, just like UOB.
Likely, will see some surge on stock prices while US election was announced.

OCBC really jiatlat, no matter how strong the market moves, it stays stagnant at $5.
I bought OCBC at $5 when STI fell to 1600.
Today STI is 1915, OCBC still at $5. Unbelievable.
With good results by Great Eastern Life, I think OCBC result later this week will be good too.

Haiz, OCBC's price today is still lower than last wed opening price of 5.20+, when the STI is 1600. STI is now almost 1900.
In a few mth, I won't be surprised even if second liners penny stock like Wing Tai overtake OCBC in share price,
I dun think so. I saw the last minute charge up of OCBC signalling willing buyers buying up in anticipation for the big jump tomorrow. Whichever the case, I am not vested in any of the banks.

OCBC, the joke of 2008 singapore stock market.
For every 20% rise in STI, OCBC rise 10%
If STI go back to 3900, OCBC will go back to 6.60 (from 4.40), against it's peak of 9.80 when STI was 3920 in early 2007.
Think SPH and OCBC fighting hand in hand for the lowest beta STI stock.

Good counter for shorting among the 3 banks tomolo as STI reach overbought territory.
UOB and DBS rose 40% from bottom while OCBC rose 15% from bottom.
Something must be rotting in OCBC (maybe Great Eastern is going to post an astronomical loss).
