Don't you find that whenever MBS quarter result is good, Genting will always be the opposite

That will be awesome if whole town short it and i can collect more at lower price.GenSp had a excellent result for this Q2 .Becoz last year Q2 ,MBS had not started its operation yet and Gensp can still acheive such a excellent result when MBS came into the picture.

Although the net profit is down, the potential of GenSp had not explode yet . This year we shall witness the opening it Maritime Museum/Aquarium/Transformers/Spa/more hotels and Villas and most exciting of all is the pending approval of junket operations  by CRA.And why is junket players so important to both Casinos here? The reasons is simple , coz they are the main driver for Casino profits and What will lure those big whales to come here? Our government is shrewd in this area low gaming tax.U will never find such a low gaming tax in anywhere else in this planet .Naturally, high rollers will come here due to low gaming tax and junket operators will have higher commission to earn when bringing in big rollers into Singapore. This will make lot of big difference when junkets play came into the play.

The Q2 total revenue of 2 Casinos in Singapore form about 62% of  Las Vegas Sands Q2 total  revenue (6 casinos including MBS) .Smiley

Genting’s S’pore casino Q2 EBITDA falls 34% on-quarter Tags: Genting Singapore | Genting Singapore Plc Written by Thomson Reuters Friday, 12 August 2011 18:35 Share this Digg Del.icio.us StumbleUpon Netscape Yahoo Technorati Googlize this FacebookExport PDFPrintE-mail Genting Singapore (GENS.SI) said on Friday that gross earnings from its casino-resort in the second quarter fell 34% from the previous three months, lagging behind rival Marina Bay Sands, as it was hit by lower win percentages in its premium players segment. Resorts World at Sentosa made $352.5 million in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) in April-June, down 33% from the $524.6 million reported for the year ago period. This was also 34% lower than the $537.9 million it earned in the first quarter of this year. Its EBITDA was lower than the US$405.4 million ($491 million) reported by Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s only other casino owned by Las Vegas Sands (LVS.N), for the same period. Resorts World’s net revenue for the second quarter was $716 million, 22% lower than the preceding quarter due to unfavourable win percentages for its premium players segment, Genting said. Singapore legalised casino gaming and allowed the building of two massive casino-resorts in 2005 as part of a plan to boost tourism. Genting’s US$4.8 billion Resorts World on Sentosa island opened its doors in February last year, while the US$5.5 billion Marina Bay Sands started two months later. The Singapore casinos are the world’s second and third most expensive casino complexes after MGM’s CityCentre in Las Vegas, and their profits and profit margins are among the highest globally. Las Vegas Sands Corp swung to a net profit of US$367.6 million in the second quarter, bolstered by improved business in Macau and Singapore, the world’s two most lucrative gambling markets.

Go to Google Maps page here:

http://maps.google.com/maps?hq=http://maps.google.com/intl/en/help/maps/streetview/mapleft.kml& utm_campaign=en& utm_medium=et& utm_source=en-et-na-us-gns-svn

Then paste this corordinate: 47.110579,9.227568 at the search box.

which will bring you to that location where you will see two long roads,

parts of which are tunnels. Make sure you go onto the open road.

Then explore the sky around above any part of the road. You will

see an interesting apparition in color. This is a must see to believe...

the more genting drop the more i buy. because the casino is not losing money, it's just earning less money due to luck factor. the more ppl win money means the more they will go back and lose more. hehe.. and also the universal studio is starting to have more earnings already, means maturing soon.

buy on monday when many ppl throw. you will see BB buying up, thats for sure.

I also holding 45 lots with average price at 1.527 after buying at a high recently at 1.745.

good luck traders/investors!

May gapped down on monday. Even if US tonight closed green also may not help. But since it's oversold, maybe may help a bit? Now market so volatile, one moment up, one moment down, full of surprises.
